질롱 침례교회 창립예배가 1월 31일 오후 4시에 드려졌습니다. 참석하셔서 예배의 은혜를 함께 나누고, 준비의 손길로 도와주신 모든분들께 감사드립니다. 하나님의 은혜가운데서 더욱 성장하는 질롱침례교회가 되길 기도합니다.
The inaugural service of Geelong Korean Baptist Church was held today afternoon. We thank everyone for coming and joining us in celebrating and worshipping together. We pray that our church continues to grow within God’s grace.
2016년 1월 30일31일은 Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race가 질롱에서 진행됩니다. 자전거 대회로 인하여 교통혼잡이 있을것을 예상합니다. 오시는 분들은 참조하시고 조금은 일직 오실 수 있기를 바랍니다. 특히나 창립예배가 있는 4시 전후로 Church street에 길이 막힐 예정입니다. 오시는 분들은 이 부분을 유의하시기 바랍니다.
The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road race will be held in Geelong this weekend. Please be aware of the road closures that will be happening on Sunday. Try to make your trip a little bit earlier so this road closure does not cause you too much trouble, especially as around 4 PM, which is scheduled for our inaugural service, Church Street will be closed.
질롱침례교회 간판이 드디어 설치되었습니다. 교회 앞의 간판을 통하여 더 많은 분들께 질롱침례교회가 알려지고, 복음의 영향력을 미칠 수 있게 되기를 기도합니다. 간판 제작 및 설치를 위하여 섬겨주신 귀한 손길들에 감사드립니다.
The church sign has been set up in front of the church building. We pray that this sign will allow God to work through everyone who sees it. We thank all who have helped in making and setting the church sign up.
질롱침례교회 교회 앞 간판
V-line 에서 새로운 소식을 전했습니다. 1월 31일까지였던 공짜 V-line 여행이 2월 7일까지 연장되었습니다. 1월 31일, 그리고 2월 7일 예배에 V-line을 타고 오실 교인분들은 공짜로 오실 수 있습니다. 또한 원래 계획되었던 새로운 시간표도 아직은 시작하지 않는다고 합니다.
Further updates from V-line has announced the free travel will be extended to the 7th of February. Please note no timetable changes will start from the 31st of January either.
지난 한주간의 V-line 사용자들의 불편함에 대한 보상으로 토요일 (23일) 부터 다음주 주일 (31일) 까지 V-line 전구간이 공짜로 운행됩니다. 주일에 교회 오실 때 사우던 크로스 에서 마이키 터치온 안하셔도 된다는 사실! 이 기회에 주변 분들도 함께 질롱으로 오셔서 예배드리시는 건 어떨까요?

V-line has annouced free travel on V-line from Saturday (23rd) to Sunday (31st) of January. You don’t need to touch on your myki when travelling on V-line. What better way to come to church on Sundays then! Make it your chance to invite others to come to our Sunday service.

저희와 한달간 함께 예배를 드렸던 박지희 집사님 가정의 송별 바베큐를 나눴습니다. 아름다운 교제의 시간을 나누게 해주신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 앞으로의 모든 시간속에서 하나님과 동행하시는 집사님 가정 되기를 기도합니다.
It was the final Sunday for Deacon Park and her family. We have enjoyed their company during the one month that she was here. We had a farewell bbq at Reverend Choe’s house. We thank God for allowing us to have such a great time in sharing. We pray that they will walk with God wherever they go in the future.

질롱침례교회의 간판 작업이 시작되었습니다. 교회 건물 앞에 세워져, 지나가는 사람들에게 저희 교회로 초대하는 귀한 역할을 잘 감당할 수 있기를 기도하는 마음으로 윤기중 집사님께서 직접 만들어 주시고 계십니다. 함께 작업을 도와주신 김명숙 집사님, 박숙자 집사님, 최춘식 목사님 그리고 백유희 사모님 감사합니다.

Works were undergoing today on the creation of our church sign. We are thankful for Deacon Yoon for volunteering his skills and time to create this magnificent creation. We also thank all the others who came to volunteer their help. We pray that this sign will act as a beacon to guide those who are passing into our church.
2016년 1월 17일 예배 후에는 질롱침례교회 교인들이 모여서 질롱 바닷가로 나갔습니다. 함께 칩스를 나누며 교제하는 시간이 참 귀합니다. 다음주 예배후에는 질롱 바닷가앞 수영장에서 모임이 있습니다. 함께 하고 싶으신 분들을 초청합니다.
After our service on the 17th January, 2016, our church members gathered and went out to George’s cafe on the Geelong Waterfront. Sharing our lives over a bowl of chips is precious. We will be gathering at the Eastern beach swimming pool after the service next week. We welcome anyone who wants to join.
