제목: 예수를 찾는 사람들 (요 7:10-24)

개인적인 필요와 관심에 따라 예수를 찾는 사람들이 있다.

그들은 예수님께서 행하시는 기적에 관심이 있다.
그들은 예수님에 대해 호감을 갖고 찾는다.

예수님의 말씀을 듣고, 믿기 원하여 예수를 찾는 사람들이 있다.

그들은 예수님을 율법교사나 선지자로 여겼다.
그들은 계속해서 예수님의 말씀을 듣기 원했다.

신실한 그리스도인은 예수 그리스도를 공개적으로 고백하고 증거한다.

어떤 사람은 예수님을 그리스도로 고백했다.
니고데모는 동료들과 많은 사람들 앞에서 예수 그리스도를 증거한다.

“누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 시인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 그를 시인할 것이요” (마 10:32)

Title: People searching for Jesus (John 7:10-24)

People search for Jesus to fill their personal interest and needs.

They are interested in the miracles Jesus performs.
They search for Jesus because they are fond of Him.

People search for Jesus to listen to His words and believe.

They thought of Jesus as a teacher or a prophet.
They wanted to continue listening to Jesus’ words.

Faithful Christians should confess and testify their faith in public.

Someone confessed Jesus as Christ.
Nicodemus testified Jesus Christ in front of all his acquaintances and many people.

“Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32)

제목: 하나님의 때 (요 7:1-9)

하나님께서 정한 하나님의 때에 모든 일을 이루어 가신다.

하나님께서 만물을 다스리시고 역사를 운행하신다.
하나님께서 예수 그리스도를 중심으로 구원사역을 펼치신다.

예수 그리스도와 성령께서 하나님의 때에 일하신다.

예수 그리스도께서 하나님의 때에 태어나셨고, 십자가를 지셨고, 부활하시고 승천하셨다. 하나님의 때에 다시 오실 것이다.
성령께서 하나님의 때에 강림하셔서 제자들에게 권능을 주셨다. 오늘날도 신자들을 돕는다.

그리스도인은 하나님의 때를 분별해야 하고, 하나님의 때를 믿어야 한다.

지금은 하나님의 은혜가 선포된 때이고, 구원받을 기회이다.
그리스도인은 늘 깨어서 기도해야 하고, 예수 그리스도를 전해야 한다.

우리가 이 세상에서 고난을 당할지라도 우리의 소망은 영원한 천국이다.
“우리가 주목하는 것은 보이는 것이 아니요 보이지 않는 것이니 보이는 것은 잠깐이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원함이라” (고후 4:18)

Title: God’s time (John 7:1-9)

God accomplishes everything in His time.

God reigns over the world and controls history.
God unfolds his plan for salvation through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit works in God’s time.

Jesus Christ was born, died on the cross, rose again and was sent up to heaven, all in God’s time. Jesus Christ will also return in God’s time.
The Holy spirit came upon the disciples to give them power in God’s time. The Holy Spirit is still helping believers today.

Christians need to be able to discern God’s time, and believe in it.

Right now is the time when God’s grace has been proclaimed, and salvation is given.
Christians should be awake in prayer, and proclaim Jesus Christ as saviour.

Although we suffer hardship in this world, our hope is in the eternal heaven.
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)

5월 15일은 스승의 날입니다. 모두들 스승들께 감사함을 표현했는지요? 저희교회는 우리를 말씀으로 이끌어주시는 목사님께 감사의 선물을 드렸습니다. 각자 모두 스승들께 감사함을 표현하는 하루 되셨길 바라고요, 또한 주위 사람들에게 좋은 영향력을 미치는, 예수님의 복음의 스승 역활들을 감당하시길 바랍니다.

It is teacher’s day on the 15th of May for Korea. Have you been able to thank those who have taught you in your life? We gave special thank you gifts to our pastor for leading us and teaching us in the word of God. I hope you all had a thankful day, showing your thankfulness to those who have been great teachers in your life, and hope that we can be a teacher to those around us in the great news of Jesus.

2016년 5월 8일은 어버이 주일이었습니다. 저희 교회 어버이들께 가슴에 작은 카네이션 하나씩 달아드리면서 부모님의 사랑을 다시한번 생각하는 주일이었습니다.

It was Mother’s day this Sunday, and we prepared little bundles of flowers for our parents. It was a good day to think back and remind ourselves of the love of our parents.

오늘은 또한 김아연 자매의 마지막 주일 예배였습니다. 비록 시간은 길지 않지만 함께 나눈 시간이 너무 소중한 아연자매가 떠난다니 슬프지만, 또한 하나님께서 어떻게 이끄실 지 모르기에 웃으며 보냅니다. 지금 당장 떨어지는 것이 아쉽지만, 하나님께서 다시 질롱으로 보내주실 것을 기대하며 축복기도와 함께 교회에서 준비한 작은 선물로 축복하며 보냈습니다.

It was also the last sunday for Ayeon, who has been with us since January this year. Although we haven’t spent a long time together, we were sad that our precious friend was leaving. However, we sent her with prayers of blessing and a small gift, to remind her of our congregation. We are sad but send her with a smile on our face as we never know where God will lead Ayeon in the future.

예배 후에는 청년들이 함께 모여서 아연자매의 송별파티를 했습니다. 함께 즐거운 이야기를 나누며 함께 했던 시간들을 추억하는 시간이었습니다.

The young adults also spent some time after the service to send Ayeon off to her future journeys. We had a joyful time with our conversations and the sweets that came with it too.
