2016년 5월 8일은 어버이 주일이었습니다. 저희 교회 어버이들께 가슴에 작은 카네이션 하나씩 달아드리면서 부모님의 사랑을 다시한번 생각하는 주일이었습니다.

It was Mother’s day this Sunday, and we prepared little bundles of flowers for our parents. It was a good day to think back and remind ourselves of the love of our parents.

오늘은 또한 김아연 자매의 마지막 주일 예배였습니다. 비록 시간은 길지 않지만 함께 나눈 시간이 너무 소중한 아연자매가 떠난다니 슬프지만, 또한 하나님께서 어떻게 이끄실 지 모르기에 웃으며 보냅니다. 지금 당장 떨어지는 것이 아쉽지만, 하나님께서 다시 질롱으로 보내주실 것을 기대하며 축복기도와 함께 교회에서 준비한 작은 선물로 축복하며 보냈습니다.

It was also the last sunday for Ayeon, who has been with us since January this year. Although we haven’t spent a long time together, we were sad that our precious friend was leaving. However, we sent her with prayers of blessing and a small gift, to remind her of our congregation. We are sad but send her with a smile on our face as we never know where God will lead Ayeon in the future.

예배 후에는 청년들이 함께 모여서 아연자매의 송별파티를 했습니다. 함께 즐거운 이야기를 나누며 함께 했던 시간들을 추억하는 시간이었습니다.

The young adults also spent some time after the service to send Ayeon off to her future journeys. We had a joyful time with our conversations and the sweets that came with it too.
