제목: 하나님의 때 (요 7:1-9)

1. 하나님께서 정한 하나님의 때에 모든 일을 이루어 가신다.

• 하나님께서 만물을 다스리시고 역사를 운행하신다.
• 하나님께서 예수 그리스도를 중심으로 구원사역을 펼치신다.

2. 예수 그리스도와 성령께서 하나님의 때에 일하신다.

• 예수 그리스도께서 하나님의 때에 태어나셨고, 십자가를 지셨고, 부활하시고 승천하셨다. 하나님의 때에 다시 오실 것이다.
• 성령께서 하나님의 때에 강림하셔서 제자들에게 권능을 주셨다. 오늘날도 신자들을 돕는다.

3. 그리스도인은 하나님의 때를 분별해야 하고, 하나님의 때를 믿어야 한다.

• 지금은 하나님의 은혜가 선포된 때이고, 구원받을 기회이다.
• 그리스도인은 늘 깨어서 기도해야 하고, 예수 그리스도를 전해야 한다.

우리가 이 세상에서 고난을 당할지라도 우리의 소망은 영원한 천국이다.
“우리가 주목하는 것은 보이는 것이 아니요 보이지 않는 것이니 보이는 것은 잠깐이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원함이라” (고후 4:18)

Title: God’s time (John 7:1-9)

1. God accomplishes everything in His time.

• God reigns over the world and controls history.
• God unfolds his plan for salvation through Jesus Christ.

2. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit works in God’s time.

• Jesus Christ was born, died on the cross, rose again and was sent up to heaven, all in God’s time. Jesus Christ will also return in God’s time.
• The Holy spirit came upon the disciples to give them power in God’s time. The Holy Spirit is still helping believers today.

3. Christians need to be able to discern God’s time, and believe in it.

• Right now is the time when God’s grace has been proclaimed, and salvation is given.
• Christians should be awake in prayer, and proclaim Jesus Christ as saviour.

Although we suffer hardship in this world, our hope is in the eternal heaven.
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)
