제목: 구속 사역을 위한 조력자 (요 12:20-24)

  1. 마리아가 예수님께 향유를 부었다.
  • 마리아는 말씀을 잘 들으므로 예수님의 장례를 준비할 수 있었다.
  • 신자는 가치있고 기억할 만한 헌신을 위해 말씀을 잘 들어야 한다.
  1. 나사로가 예수님과 함께 있었다.
  • 살아난 나사로는 예수님이 하나님임을 증거하는 실체이다.
  • 신자는 변화된 삶으로 예수 그리스도를 증거해야 한다.
  1. 안드레와 빌립이 헬라인을 예수님께 데리고 왔다.
  • 예수님께서 십자가에서 죽으심으로 모든 사람을 살리신다.
  • 신자는 사람들을 예수님께 데리고 와야 한다.

“사람이 마땅히 우리를 그리스도의 일꾼이요 하나님의 비밀을 맡은 자로 여길지어다. 그리고 맡은 자들에게 구할 것은 충성이니라” (고전 4:1-2)

 

 

Title: The helpers in the work of redemption (John 11:38-44)

  1. Mary poured perfume on Jesus.
  • Mary had listened to Jesus’ words well, and was able to prepare for his death.
  • Believers should listen to His word carefully to be able to serve in meaningful and memorable works.
  1. Lazarus was with Jesus.
  • Risen Lazarus was the real proof of Jesus being God.
  • Believers should be witnesses of Jesus through their transformed lives.
  1. Andrew and Phillip brought Greeks to Jesus.
  • Jesus died on the cross to save everyone.
  • Believers should bring others toward Jesus.

“This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:1-2)

제목: 나사로를 살리신 예수 그리스도 (요 11:38-44)

  1. 예수님은 나사로를 사랑하셨다.
  • 하나님께서 사람을 사랑하셔서 예수님을 보내셨다.
  • 나사로를 사랑하신 예수님께서 우리를 사랑하신다.
  1. 예수님은 죽은 나사로를 살리셨다.
  • 모든 인간은 죄로 말미암아 죽어 있다.
  • 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에서 죽으심으로 우리를 살리셨다.
  1. 예수님은 하나님의 영광을 나타내셨다.
  • 예수 그리스도께서 말씀과 표적으로 하나님이심을 드러내셨다.
  • 우리는 ‘주는 그리스도시요 살아계신 하나님의 아들이니이다’를 고백하며 예수님을 섬긴다.

나사로 때문에 많은 유대인들이 예수님을 믿었듯이, 주님을 믿고 섬기는 우리들 때문에 많은 사람이 예수님을 믿게 되어야 한다.

 

 

Title: Jesus Christ raises Lazarus (John 11:38-44)

  1. Jesus loved Lazarus.
  • God sent Jesus to this world because he loved humans.
  • The Jesus who loved Lazarus also loves us.
  1. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.
  • All humans are dead because of sin.
  • Jesus Christ died on the cross to save all of us.
  1. Jesus glorified God.
  • Jesus Christ showed Himself as God through His words and miracles.
  • We should proclaim “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”, as we serve Jesus.

As many Jews believed Jesus because of Lazarus, our lives believing and following Jesus should lead many to believe in Jesus as well.

이번주에도는 최춘식 목사님의 은혜로운 말씀과 함께 특별히 박숙자 집사님의 생신을 맞아서 생일케익과 함께 주일 점심을 나눴습니다. 처음 오신 김민성 형제와 저번주에 오신 배옥남 권사님도 함께 좋은 시간을 나눌 수 있어서 감사한 주일입니다. 이제는 사랑이가 같이 놀 수 있는 태율이가 있어서 더 행복해 보입니다.

Pastor Choe gave a special message about the good shepherd, and we also celebrated Deacon Park’s birthday this Sunday. A first time visitor, Minsung joined us for lunch, as well as Deacon Bae who came last week. Alicia looks especially happy this week as she now has a friend to play with.

제목: 선한목자이신 예수 그리스도 (요 10:1-18)

  1. 예수님은 목자이시고, 우리는 그의 양이다.
  • 예수님은 성도 앞에서 인도하는 목자이다.
  • 우리는 예수님을 믿고 따르는 양이다.
  1. 예수님은 우리 위해 목숨을 버리셨다.
  • 예수님께서 신자에게 영생을 주시기 위해 십자가에서 죽으셨다.
  • 우리는 예수님의 십자가와 부활을 믿고 영생을 누린다.
  1. 예수님은 우리를 목자로 세우신다.
  • 신자는 모두 예수님께서 세우신 목자이다.
  • 우리가 목자로 헌신하면 예수님께서 상주신다.

“이는 보라 가운데 계신 어린 양이 그들의 목자가 되사 생명수 샘으로 인도하시고 하나님께서 그들의 눈에서 모든 눈물을 씻어 주실 것임이라” (요한계시록 7:17)

 

 

Title: Jesus Christ, the good shepherd (John 10:1-18)

  1. Jesus is the shepherd, and we are His sheep.
  • Jesus is the shepherd leading the believers.
  • We are the sheep who believe and follow Jesus.
  1. Jesus gave up his life for us.
  • Jesus died on the cross to give life to the believers.
  • We believe in the cross and resurrection of Jesus to receive eternal life.
  1. Jesus appoints us to be shepherd.
  • Believers are all shepherds appointed by Jesus.
  • When we devote ourselves as shepherds, Jesus rewards us.

“For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

(Revelation 7:17)

제목: 눈뜬 자의 감격 (요 9:30-38)

  1. 눈을 뜬 사람이 세상과 사람을 보고 감격했다.
  • 세상과 사람을 처음 보는 감격이 클 수 밖에 없다.
  • 거듭난 신자에게는 구원의 감격이 있다.
  1. 눈을 뜬 사람은 낯선 환경과 반대하는 사람을 보았다.
  • 그는 낯선 환경과 반대하는 사람을 극복해야 한다.
  • 신자에게는 세상으로부터 시련과 핍박이 있다.
  1. 눈을 뜬 사람은 예수님을 바라보며 감격을 유지했다.
  • 그가 예수님을 다시 만나 주님으로 고백하고 따랐다.
  • 신자가 구원의 감격을 유지하려면 예수님을 바라보아야 한다.

보혜사 성령님이 함께 하시며 돕기 때문에 우리는 감격스러운 성도의 삶을 살아갈 수 있다.

 

 

Title: The effervescence of the blind who see (John 9:1-12)

  1. The healed blind man was touched by seeing the world and the people.
  • You will be touched at seeing the world and people for the first time.
  • Believers who are born again have the effervescence of being saved.
  1. The healed blind man saw an unfamiliar environment and opposing people.
  • You have to overcome unfamiliar environments and opposing people.
  • Believers will experience trials and persecution from the world.
  1. The healed blind man maintained his effervescence by looking toward Jesus.
  • He met Jesus again, confessed Him as Lord and followed Him.
  • For believers to maintain their effervescence they have to look toward Jesus.

We can live as effervescent believers as we have the Comforter, the Holy Spirit helping us.

 

 

강남중앙침례교회 대학생 선교단 방문

2016년 7월 6일에서 8일까지 강남중앙침례교회에서 대학생 선교단이 질롱을 방문하여 거리전도와 콘서트를 했습니다. 바쁜 일정속에서 웃음을 잃지 않고 열심을 다하여 전도하고, 또한 콘서트를 통하여 복음을 전한 청년, 그리고 인솔자 모든 분들께 감사드립니다. 길거리 전도 후에는 호주 동물 체험과 바닷가 구경도 함께하여 호주의 아름다움을 함께 느끼는 시간도 가졌습니다.공연 전에는 Manifold Heights Baptist Church교인분들과, 가족, 친구, 이웃들을 초청하여 맛있는 저녁식사도 함께 나눴습니다. 모든 수고하신 분들께 감사드리고 함께 해주신 모든 분들을 주님의 이름으로 축복합니다.

A young adults mission team visited Geelong from the 6th to 8th of July, and they performed a concert for us at Manifold Heights Baptist Church. In preparation, we went out into the Geelong CBD and invited people to the church and the concert was a great opportunity to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. We thank all those involved in the young adults mission team for bringing us this great performance and opportunity to share in their busy schedules. The mission team had a small break and we enjoyed looking at and experiencing Australian animals and the famous great ocean road. Before the concert, we invited all to a great Korean dinner, and there was an abundance of joy and thankfulness throughout the night. We thank everyone involved with helping and preparing for the concert and God bless all those who came and visited.

제목: 하나님의 일 (요 9:1-12)

  1. 하나님의 일은 죄인을 사랑하여 구원하는 것이다.
  • 모든 사람은 하나님의 은혜가 필요한 죄인이다.
  • 하나님께서는 선택한 사람을 구원하신다.
  1. 하나님의 일은 예수 그리스도를 통하여 이루신다.
  • 예수 그리스도는 하나님의 아들, 구세주이시다.
  • 예수님께서 십자가에서 죽으심으로 구원사역을 이루셨다.
  1. 하나님의 일은 구원받은 사람이 함께 한다.
  • 예수 그리스도를 믿는 것이 하나님의 일을 하는 것이다.
  • 신자는 예수 그리스도를 증거하고 섬긴다.

하나님께서는 어떤 불행한 상황에서도 예수 그리스도 안에서 우리를 사랑하시고 돌보신다. (롬 8:31-39)

 

 

Title: God’s work (John 9:1-12)

  1. God’s work is to love and save the sinner.
  • All people are sinners who need God’s grace.
  • God saves those who are chosen.
  1. God’s work is accomplished through Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior.
  • Jesus Christ accomplished salvation by dying on the cross.
  1. God’s work is shared by those who are saved.
  • Believing in Jesus Christ is doing God’s work.
  • Believers witness for Jesus Christ and serve him.

God loves and takes care of us in Jesus Christ in any unfortunate situations. (Romans 8:31-39)
