1. 예수님은 목자이시고, 우리는 그의 양이다.

• 우리는 예수님을 믿고 따르는 양이다.

2. 예수님은 우리 위해 목숨을 버리셨다.

• 예수님께서 신자에게 영생을 주시기 위해 십자가에서 죽으셨다.
• 우리는 예수님의 십자가와 부활을 믿고 영생을 누린다.

3. 예수님은 우리를 목자로 세우신다.

• 신자는 모두 예수님께서 세우신 목자이다.
• 우리가 목자로 헌신하면 예수님께서 상주신다.

“이는 보라 가운데 계신 어린 양이 그들의 목자가 되사 생명수 샘으로 인도하시고 하나님께서 그들의 눈에서 모든 눈물을 씻어 주실 것임이라” (요한계시록 7:17)
