제목: 보혜사 성령 (요 14:25-27)

  1. 보혜사 성령은 삼위일체 하나님의 한 위이시다.
  • 성부 하나님께서 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 성령을 보내신다.
  • 신자는 성령이 함께 하심으로 하나님을 경험한다.
  1. 보혜사 성령은 예수 그리스도를 증거한다.
  • 성령은 예수님을 그리스도와 하나님의 아들로 믿게 한다.
  • 신자는 성경에서 성령의 조명으로 예수 그리스도를 알고 믿는다.
  1. 보혜사 성령은 신자들을 도와준다.
  • 성령은 신자들의 생활과 사역에서 돕는 분이시다.
  • 신자는 성령의 도움으로 평안과 기쁨을 누린다.

우리는 성령에 의하여 예수 그리스도를 구주와 주님으로 믿으며, 그 믿음이 세상에서 환란을 이기고 승리하게 한다. (요일 5:4-5)

 

 

Title: The Advocate, the Holy Spirit (John 14:25-27)

  1. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit is one of the Holy Trinity.
  • The Father sends the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Believers experience God through being with the Holy Spirit.
  1. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit speaks of Jesus Christ.
  • The Holy Spirit teaches Jesus as Christ, the Son of God.
  • The Holy Spirit enlightens believers to know Jesus through the Bible.
  1. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit helps believers.
  • The Holy Spirit helps believers in their life and ministry.
  • Believers enjoy peace and joy through the help of the Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, and that faith lets us overcome the distresses in the world and be victorious. (1 John 5:4-5)

8월 28일 주일은 질롱침례교회 교인 몇분들도 함께 10시에 있는 영어예배에 참석하셔서 Rhys 목사님 송별 예배를 함께 드렸습니다. 지난 8개월간 말씀을 전해주시고, 사랑을 나눠주신 Rhys 목사님께 감사드리며, 특별히 연합예배는 못 드렸지만, 함께 예배에 참석하고 교제함으로 우리의 하나됨이 실천되는 주일이었음에 하나님께 감사드립니다. 예배 시간 속 특송과 예배찬양에 함께 섬길 수 있는 귀한 시간이었습니다. 예배 후에는 다과를 나누며 송별 선물을 드렸습니다.

On the 28th of August, a few of the Korean congregation members joined in the 10:00AM English service to say our farewell to Pastor Rhys. We thank him for the precious time we shared over the last 8 months, and even though it wasn’t a united service, we thank God for letting us combine in the sharing of the gospel and love. A few of our church members joined in the service through the special item and the praise and worship. We also had a great morning tea after the service.

 

10시 영어 예배 후, 1시 한국어 예배에서는 새로온 안중혁청년이 함께하여 즐거움을 나눴습니다. 이번주일은 김미나 집사님께서 짜장밥을 준비해주셔서 예배 후 함께 맛있게 먹고, 주영자매가 디저트까지 준비하셔서 더 풍성한 시간이 되었습니다. 다음주부터는 점심식사 후 신자훈련이 시작되니 그 시간이 또 기대됩니다.

We had our usual 1:00PM Korean service, and we joyously greeted a Junghyuk who is going to be staying in Geelong for a year. After the service, we shared in a special black bean sauce rice prepared by Deacon Kim, and even some dessert that Jooyoung prepared. We will be starting bible study sessions after lunch from next week, so we look forward to that too.

제목: 내 아버지 집 (요 14:1-6)

  1. 내 아버지 집은 천국을 의미한다
  • 천국은 가족의 사랑이 있는 집이다.
  • 신자는 하나님의 자녀이다
  1. 아버지 집의 거할 곳은 예수님께서 예비하신다.
  • 예수님께서 십자가에서 죽으심으로 천국을 예비하셨다.
  • 신자는 예수님과 함께 천국에 거한다.
  1. 아버지 집은 예수님을 통하여 갈 수 있다.
  • 예수님은 천국으로 가는 길이다.
  • 신자는 예수님을 믿으므로 천국에 이른다.

우리는 천국을 바라보며 나아가는 순례자이며, 이 세상에서도 하나님의 보호와 인도를 받는 천국 백성이다.

 

 

Title: My Father’s house (John 14:1-6)

  1. My Father’s house is Heaven.
  • Heaven is where there is the love of a family.
  • Believers are children of God.
  1. Jesus prepares our dwelling place in the Father’s house.
  • Jesus prepared heaven for us through dying on the cross.
  • Believers dwell in heaven with Jesus.
  1. We can go to the Father’s house through Jesus.
  • Jesus is the way to heaven.
  • Believers get into heaven through their faith in Jesus.

We are pilgrims walking on as we look toward heaven. We are citizens of heaven who live amongst the protection and guidance of God.

이번주일은 특별히 최이레 청년의 생일을 맞이하여 즐거운 교제의 시간이 있었습니다. 특별한 잔치 음식과 함께 속 안이 색색깔의 보기에도 즐겁고 맛도 있는 케익과 청년들이 가지고 온 간식을 나누며 삶을 나누는 귀한 시간을 주신 하나님께 감사드립니다.

This Sunday we had a special lunch as it was Jireh’s birthday this week. We celebrated her birthday with a cake that was so pretty on the inside and out. With a delicious lunch, pretty and tasty cake and even some biscuits our young adults brought to share, we thanked God for our precious fellowship and the times we share together.

제목: 존귀한 사람! (빌 2:19-30)

  1. 교회의 일꾼은 다른 사람의 사정을 헤아린다.
  2. 교회의 일꾼은 목사의 인정을 받아야 한다.
  3. 교회의 일꾼은 교회에 필요한 존재이다.
  4. 교회의 일꾼은 고난이 있다.
  5. 교회의 일꾼에게는 보상이 있다.

교회의 일꾼이 ‘존귀한 사람’이다.

  1. Workers in the church understand the circumstances of other people.
  2. Workers in the church should be acknowledged by the pastor.
  3. Workers in the church are necessary for the church.
  4. There is adversity for workers in the church.
  5. There are rewards for workers in the church.

Workers in the church should be honoured!

이번주 주일은 특별한 손님과 함께 했습니다. 한국의 서머나 침례교회 담임목사님이신 배재인 목사님께서 오셔서 설교를 해주셨습니다. 은혜의 말씀을 전파해주셔서 감사드립니다.

We had a special guest this Sunday, Pastor JaeIn Bae from Smyrna Baptist Church in Korea. We thank him for bringing us God’s message of hope and encouragement.

 

예배 후에는 매주 함께 나누는 맛있는 오찬과 함께 즐거운 교제를 나눴습니다. 매주마다 더욱 성장하며 부흥하는 질롱침례교회 되길 기도합니다.

After the service we shared in fellowship accompanied by amazing food. We pray Geelong Korean Baptist Church will grow in faith and number week by week.

제목: 서로 사랑하라! (요 13:31-35)

  1. 서로 사랑하라는 새 계명을 예수님께서 주셨다.
  • 예수님께서 십자가에서 죽으심으로 완전한 사랑을 보여주셨다.
  • 신자는 희생과 섬김으로 서로 사랑해야 한다.
  1. 서로 사랑하는 것은 예수님을 나타낸다.
  • 예수님의 사랑을 받은 자가 서로 사랑할 수 있다.
  • 신자는 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 서로 섬긴다.
  1. 서로 사랑하기 위해 성령의 도움을 받아야한다.
  • 성령은 예수님의 계명을 지키도록 돕는다.
  • 신자는 성령님께 도움을 요청해야 한다.

“누구든지 그의 말씀을 지키는 자는 하나님의 사랑이 참으로 그 속에서 온전하게 되었나니 이로써 우리가 그의 안에 있는 줄을 아노라” (요일 2:5)

 

 

Title: Love one another! (John 13:31-35)

  1. Jesus gave us a new command to love one another.
  • Jesus showed the perfect love through dying on the cross.
  • Believers should love one another through sacrifice and service.
  1. Loving one another shows Jesus.
  • Those who have received Jesus’ love can love one another.
  • Believers serve each other through the name of Jesus Christ.
  1. We need the help of the Holy Spirit to love one another.
  • The Holy Spirit helps us to keep Jesus’ commands.
  • Believers should ask for help from the Holy Spirit.

“But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:” (1 John 2:5)
