8월 28일 주일은 질롱침례교회 교인 몇분들도 함께 10시에 있는 영어예배에 참석하셔서 Rhys 목사님 송별 예배를 함께 드렸습니다. 지난 8개월간 말씀을 전해주시고, 사랑을 나눠주신 Rhys 목사님께 감사드리며, 특별히 연합예배는 못 드렸지만, 함께 예배에 참석하고 교제함으로 우리의 하나됨이 실천되는 주일이었음에 하나님께 감사드립니다. 예배 시간 속 특송과 예배찬양에 함께 섬길 수 있는 귀한 시간이었습니다. 예배 후에는 다과를 나누며 송별 선물을 드렸습니다.

On the 28th of August, a few of the Korean congregation members joined in the 10:00AM English service to say our farewell to Pastor Rhys. We thank him for the precious time we shared over the last 8 months, and even though it wasn’t a united service, we thank God for letting us combine in the sharing of the gospel and love. A few of our church members joined in the service through the special item and the praise and worship. We also had a great morning tea after the service.

10시 영어 예배 후, 1시 한국어 예배에서는 새로온 안중혁청년이 함께하여 즐거움을 나눴습니다. 이번주일은 김미나 집사님께서 짜장밥을 준비해주셔서 예배 후 함께 맛있게 먹고, 주영자매가 디저트까지 준비하셔서 더 풍성한 시간이 되었습니다. 다음주부터는 점심식사 후 신자훈련이 시작되니 그 시간이 또 기대됩니다.

We had our usual 1:00PM Korean service, and we joyously greeted a Junghyuk who is going to be staying in Geelong for a year. After the service, we shared in a special black bean sauce rice prepared by Deacon Kim, and even some dessert that Jooyoung prepared. We will be starting bible study sessions after lunch from next week, so we look forward to that too.
