2016년 10월 30일 주일모습

10월 30일 주일은 특별히 많은 손님들이 방문해 주셨습니다. 한국에서 오신 신동준 집사님과 멜번에서 방문해 주신 여태수 성도님, 박루디아 집사님 그리고 은석어린이를 환영합니다.

There were more than usual visitors this week at Geelong Korean Baptist Church. We welcome Shin from Korea, and Lydia, Taesu and Eunseok from Melbourne.

이번주에도 변함없이 식탁 교제 후 성경공부가 진행되었습니다. 성경 공부 후에는 우리와 함께 몇달을 함께 예배드린 예연 자매를 위한 송별 기도를 했습니다. 방학을 맞아 한국에 다녀오는 동안 건강하길 기도합니다.

The bible study is continuing after lunch at 3:30PM. We welcome all to join. After the bible study we joined in prayer as one of our members Emily was leaving for Korea during the school holidays. We pray she will enjoy her trip home.

제목: 십자가 아래 사람들 (요 19:23-27)

  1. 예수님을 못 박고 지키는 로마 군병들이 있었다.
  • 군병들은 맡겨진 임무를 수행하는 사람들이다.
  • 자기 일에 충실하지만 복음에 관심이 없는 사람은 심판 받는다.
  1. 예수님을 조롱하는 유대관원과 백성들이 있었다.
  • 제사장, 서기관, 장로, 백성들이 ‘십자가에서 내려오라’고 예수님을 조롱했다.
  • 복음과 교회에 적대감을 갖고 비난하는 사람들이 많다.
  1. 예수님을 믿고 따르는 여인들과 제자가 있었다.
  • 여러 여인들과 요한은 예수님을 메시야로 믿었다.
  • 예수 그리스도를 구주와 주님으로 믿으면 구원받는다.

“그런즉 이스라엘 온 집은 확실히 알찌니 너희가 십자가에 못 박은 이 예수를 하나님이 주와 그리스도가 되게 하셨느니라 하니라” (행 2:36)

 

Title:  The people under the cross (John 19:23-27)

  1. There were the Roman soldiers who crucified Jesus.
  • The soldiers were people doing their duty.
  • Those who are dutiful in their work but doesn’t care for the good news will be condemned.
  1. There were Jewish leaders and people mocking Jesus.
  • The chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked Jesus saying, “Let him come down now from the cross”.
  • There are many people who show hostility and criticize to the good news and churches.
  1. There were women and a disciple believing and following Jesus.
  • Many women and John believed Jesus as the Messiah.
  • If you believe in Jesus as the Savior and Lord, you are saved.

“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this; God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” (Acts 2:36)

제목: 십자가에 못 박히신 예수 그리스도 (요 19:17-22)

  1. 하나님께서 죄인을 구원하시려고 십자가 대속을 예정하셨다.
  • 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에서 죽으신 것은 하나님의 뜻이다.
  • 신자는 하나님의 선택으로 은혜를 받은 자이다.
  1. 예수님께서 십자가에서 죽으심으로 구속사역을 성취하셨다.
  • 예수 그리스도께서 인간의 죄를 사하기 위해 값을 치뤘다.
  • 신자는 예수님의 공로로 죄사함 받고 영생을 얻었다.
  1. 성령께서 십자가에서 죽으신 예수 그리스도를 믿게 한다.
  • 성령께서 복음을 깨닫게 하고, 예수님을 믿게 한다.
  • 신자는 성령에 의하여 예수님을 주로 고백한다.

“친히 나무에 달려 그 몸으로 우리 죄를 담당하셨으니 이는 우리로 죄에 대하여 죽고 의에 대하여 살게 하려 하심이라.” (벧전 2:24)

 

 

Title:  The Crucifixion of Jesus (John 19:17-22)

  1. God preordained the ransom of the cross to save sinners.
  • It was God’s will that Jesus Christ died on the cross.
  • Believers are chosen through the grace of God.
  1. Jesus completed the work of redemption through the cross.
  • Jesus Christ paid the price to forgive the sins of humans.
  • Believers are forgiven and receive eternal life through the righteousness of Jesus.
  1. The Holy Spirit makes us believe in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
  • The Holy Spirit lets us understand the good news and believe in Jesus.
  • Believers confess Jesus as our Lord through the Holy Spirit.

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

제목: 두려워하는 빌라도 (요 19:1-12)

  1. 빌라도는 영적으로 두려워했다.
  • 빌라도가 예수님께서 하나님의 아들이라는 말을 듣고 두려워했다.
  • 신자는 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑으로 평안을 누린다.
  1. 빌라도는 세상의 권세 때문에 두려워했다.
  • 빌라도는 로마황제의 미움을 받을까 두려워했다.
  • 신자는 예수 그리스도를 주님으로 섬기기 때문에 두려움이 없다.
  1. 빌라도는 사람들의 비난을 두려워했다.
  • 빌라도는 유대 지도자들과 군중들의 함성을 두려워했다.
  • 신자는 오직 하나님의 칭찬을 기대한다.

하나님이 우리에게 주신 것은 두려워하는 마음이 아니요 오직 능력과 사랑과 절제하는 마음이니 (딤후 1:7)

 

 

Title:  Pilate was afraid (John 19:1-12)

  1. Pilate was afraid spiritually
  • Pilate was afraid after hearing Jesus was the son of God.
  • Believers receive peace through the love of God in Jesus Christ.
  1. Pilate was afraid due to the worldly power.
  • Pilate was afraid he would be disliked by the Roman Emperor.
  • Believers are not afraid as we serve Jesus Christ as our Lord.
  1. Pilate was afraid of criticism and blame.
  • Pilate was afraid of the Jewish leaders and the crowd’s shouting.
  • Believers only look forward to the commendation from God.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)

2016년 10월 9일 함께한 예배

10월 9일 주일 예배는 특별히 영어교회 청년들과 함께 드리게 되었습니다. 영어교회 청년들은 8일오후에서 9일저녁까지 교회에서 모여 모든 첨단기계 없는 밤을 지냈습니다. 교회에서 밤을 지새우고 함께 한국어 예배까지 드린 청년들이 대견합니다. 예배 후 함께 맛있는 비빔밥까지 먹을 수 있어서 감사했습니다.

The Manifold Heights Baptist Church young adults group joined the Korean service on the 9th of October. They had just spent a night without technology (no phones etc) and we are very glad for them to join us during our service as well. We were also glad they could join us for the Korean lunch after the service.

제목: 빌라도 앞에 서신 예수님 (요 18:33-40)

  1. 예수님은 만 왕의 왕이시다.
  • 예수님께서 빌라도에게 ‘네 말과 같이 내가 왕이니라’고 말씀하셨다.
  • 신자는 예수님께서 왕 이신 나라의 백성이다.
  1. 예수님은 진리의 증거자이시다.
  • 예수님께서 진리에 대하여 증거하셨다.
  • 신자는 십자가의 진리를 믿고 구원받는다.
  1. 예수님은 흠 없는 속죄양이시다.
  • 빌라도는 예수님께 아무 죄도 찾지 못했다고 말했다.
  • 신자는 죄가 없으면서 십자가에서 죽으신 예수님의 피로 죄사함 받는다.

그가 찔림은 우리의 허물 때문이요 그가 상함은 우리의 죄악 때문이라. 그가 징계를 받음으로 우리가 평화를 누리고 그가 채찍에 맞으므로 우리가 나음을 얻었도다. (이사야 53:5)

 

 

Title:  Jesus before Pilate (John 18:33-40)

  1. Jesus is the king of all kings.
  • Jesus said to Pilate, “You say that I am a king.”
  • Believers are people of the kingdom where Jesus is king.
  1. Jesus is the proclaimer of truth.
  • Jesus proclaimed of the truth.
  • Believers are saved through believing in the truth of the cross.
  1. Jesus is the innocent lamb of God.
  • Pilate said he couldn’t find any sin in Jesus.
  • Believers become saved through the innocent blood of Jesus on the cross.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
