1. 예수님은 만 왕의 왕이시다.

• 예수님께서 빌라도에게 ‘네 말과 같이 내가 왕이니라’고 말씀하셨다.
• 신자는 예수님께서 왕 이신 나라의 백성이다.

2. 예수님은 진리의 증거자이시다.

• 예수님께서 진리에 대하여 증거하셨다.
• 신자는 십자가의 진리를 믿고 구원받는다.

3. 예수님은 흠 없는 속죄양이시다.

• 빌라도는 예수님께 아무 죄도 찾지 못했다고 말했다.
• 신자는 죄가 없으면서 십자가에서 죽으신 예수님의 피로 죄사함 받는다.

그가 찔림은 우리의 허물 때문이요 그가 상함은 우리의 죄악 때문이라. 그가 징계를 받음으로 우리가 평화를 누리고 그가 채찍에 맞으므로 우리가 나음을 얻었도다. (이사야 53:5)

1. Jesus is the king of all kings.

• Jesus said to Pilate, “You say that I am a king.”
• Believers are people of the kingdom where Jesus is king.

2. Jesus is the proclaimer of truth.

• Jesus proclaimed of the truth.
• Believers are saved through believing in the truth of the cross.

3. Jesus is the innocent lamb of God.

• Pilate said he couldn’t find any sin in Jesus.
• Believers become saved through the innocent blood of Jesus on the cross.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
