1. 예수님께서 베드로의 본래 이름을 불렀다.

• 예수 그리스도께서 ‘요한의 아들 시몬아’라고 베드로를 불렀다.
• 주님께서 재림하실 때 우리 각자의 이름이 불리어 질 것이다.

2. 예수님께서 베드로 수준에서 사랑을 말씀하셨다.

• 예수 그리스도께서 세 번 ‘네가 나를 사랑하느냐?’고 물었다.
• 주님께서 우리의 사랑고백을 기뻐하신다.

3. 예수님께서 베드로에게 그의 양을 맡기셨다.

• 예수 그리스도께서 베드로에게 ‘내 양을 먹이라’고 하셨다.
• 주님께서 우리를 신뢰하여 목양의 사명을 주셨다.

“그리하면 목자장이 나타나실 때에 시들지 아니하는 영광의 관을 얻으리라” (벧전 5:4)

Title: Love of Jesus (John 21:15-17)

1. Jesus called Peter by his original name.

• Jesus Christ called Peter by “Simon son of John”.
• When the Lord comes again He will call each one of us by our names.

2. Jesus told of love at Peter’s level.

• Jesus Christ asked “Do you love me?” three times.
• The Lord loves our confession of love.

3. Jesus entrusted His sheep with Peter.

• Jesus Christ told Peter to “Feed my sheep”.
• The Lord entrusts us and has given us a mission of tending His sheep.

“And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.” (1 Peter 5:4)
