제목: 제자의 수가 많아지는 교회 (행 6:1-7)

  1. 구원받는 사람이 많아졌다.
  • 사도행전 앞 부분에 ‘제자’의 수가 많아짐이 기록되었다.
  • 교회는 예수 그리스도를 믿어 구원받은 사람들의 모임이다.
  1. 일꾼들이 세워졌다.
  • 사도행전의 첫 교회는 사역을 효과적으로 하기위해 일꾼들을 세웠다.
  • 오늘날 모든 신자는 부름받은 일꾼들이다.
  1. 교회의 원동력은 하나님의 말씀이었다.
  • 첫 교회 신자들이 집중했던 것은 하나님 말씀이었다.
  • 예수 그리스도를 통한 구원의 복음이 활발히 전파되어야 한다.

하나님 말씀인 성경을 통해 예수 그리스도를 더 잘 알아 확실히 믿고, 사랑하고 증거하는 신자들이 되자!

 

Title: A church with numbers of disciples increasing (Acts 6:1-7)

  1. Those who were saved increased in number
  • In the start of the book of Acts, it is written about the numbers of disciples increasing
  • A church is a gathering of people who are saved by believing in Jesus Christ.
  1. Workers were appointed
  • The first church in Acts appointed workers to be a more effective church.
  • All believers nowadays are called as workers.
  1. The driving force in the church was the word of God.
  • The believers of the first church focused on the word of God.
  • The good news of salvation through Jesus Christ must be spread more actively.

Through the bible, which is the word of God, let us be believers increasing in the knowledge, faith, love and testaments of Jesus Christ.

제목: 영광의 찬송 (엡 1:7-12)

  1. 그 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 ‘속량’을 받은 우리
  • 영화 ‘Ransom’ 아들의 몸값을 유괴범 현상금으로 내어 놓음
  • 우리 몸값으로 독생자 예수님을 보내신 하나님을 찬양합시다.
  1. 모든 지혜와 총명을 받아 하나님의 경륜을 알게 된 우리
  • 경륜: “하나님이 인류 구원을 위해 온 천하를 다스리시는 경영’
  • ‘내 주 그리스도 예수를 아는 지식이 가장 고상하다’ (사도 바울)
  1. 하나님의 계획과 예정하심에 의해 기업(상속자)이 된 우리
  • 그리스도의 향기를 풍기는 삶과 역경을 소망으로 극복하는 삶을 통해 하나님의 영광의 찬송이 되는 우리 모두가 되기를 축원합니다.

“이는 우리가 그리스도 안에서 전부터 바라던 그의 영광의 찬송이 되게 하려 하심이라” (엡 1:12)

 

Title: Praise of His glory (Ephesians 1:7-12)

  1. We received redemption with the riches of God’s grace
  • In the movie ‘Ransom’, the ransom for his son was set as a reward for the kidnappers.
  • We praise God who sent Jesus Christ as our ransom.
  1. With all wisdom and understanding we came to know His dispensation
  • Dispensation: “God’s management of the whole world in order to save humanity”
  • ‘surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord’ (Apostle Paul)
  1. In God’s plan and predestination we were chosen to obtain an inheritance.
  • May we have the blessing of being the praise of His glory through a life giving out the fragrance of Jesus Christ and overcoming tribulations through hope.

“in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory.” (Ephesians 1:12)

제목: 이 생명의 말씀 (행 5:17-32)

  1. 사도들은 이 생명의 말씀으로 권능을 행하였다.
  • 사도들이 하나님의 약속에 의지하여 능력을 나타냈다.
  • 하나님의 말씀으로 기적이 일어난다.
  1. 이 생명의 말씀은 예수 그리스도의 이름이다.
  • 사도들이 예수 그리스도를 선포했다.
  • 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 구원을 받는다.
  1. 사도들이 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 인해 능욕 받는 것을 기뻐했다.
  • 예수 그리스도의 이름을 선포하는 사도들이 핍박을 받았다.
  • 예수 그리스도 때문에 핍박 받는 것을 기뻐해야 한다.

“사도들은 그 이름을 위하여 능욕 받는 일에 합당한 자로 여기심을 기뻐하면서 공회 앞을 떠나니라” (행 5:41)

 

Title: This Word of Life (Acts 4:13-22)

  1. The apostles performed authority through this Word.
  • The apostles showed power relying on the promise of God.
  • Miracles happen through the word of God.
  1. This Word of Life is the name of Jesus Christ.
  • The apostles proclaimed Jesus Christ.
  • Salvation is through the name of Jesus Christ.
  1. The apostles rejoiced in being insulted for the name of Jesus Christ.
  • The apostles proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ were persecuted.
  • We should rejoice when we are persecuted for Jesus Christ.

“The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.” (Acts 5:41)

2017년 3월 5일 주일은 성찬식으로 온 성도님들이 함께 예수님을 기억했습니다. 우리가 먹고 마시는 빵과 포도주로 예수님께서 우리를 위해 희생하신 그 사랑을 기억하는 귀한 시간이었습니다.

On Sunday, the 5th of March, we shared in the Lord’s supper during our service. It was a precious time where we remembered the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ through the bread and drinks we shared.

 

또한 2017년을 맞이하여 새로운 집사님 세분과 (이민재, 권보경, 최이레) 모든 교회 집사님들을 임명하는 시간이 있었습니다. 제직의 의무를 다하며 교회를 열심으로 섬기는 집사님들 되시길 축복하며 기도합니다. 이 예배를 위해 특별히 오카리나로 특별연주를 해준 김서윤 어린이 감사합니다.

During our service we also appointed three new deacon/deaconess and also renewed the appointment of our other deacon/deaconess. We bless and pray that all the deacon/deaconess will fulfill their duties serving the Lord and the church wholeheartedly. We also thank Seoyoon who gave a special song with her ocarina.

2017년 2월 26일 주일에는 특별히 새신랑과 새신부가 된 이민재 형제와 권보경 자매가 함께 예배를 드렸습니다. 한국에서 결혼식을 무사히 마치고 돌아오신 부부를 환영하고 축복하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

We welcomed the newlyweds at our Sunday service on the 26th of February. We welcomed and gave our blessings in prayer for Minjae and Bokyung who came back from Korea where they had their wedding ceremony.

2017년 아발론 에어쇼를 위해서 호주를 방문하신 황상욱 집사님 가정을 환영합니다. 집사님 가정에 늘평안과 건강이 있기를 기도합니다. We welcomed our visitors Sang-Wook’s family who came to Australia for the 2017 Avalon Air Show. We pray that your family is full of peace and health.

제목: 하나님 앞에서 (행 4:13-22)

  1. 사도들은 언제 어디든지 하나님 앞에 있음을 고백했다.
  • 사도들은 종교지도자들 앞에서 협박을 받으면서 하나님 앞이라고 말했다.
  • 신자는 어디서나 하나님 앞에 있음을 인식해야 한다.
  1. 사도들은 어떤 협박에도 불구하고 담대하게 하나님 말씀에 순종했다.
  • 각 시대마다 사탄은 예수 그리스도 이름을 반대한다.
  • 신실한 신자는 오직 예수 그리스도만이 구세주임을 말해야 한다.
  1. 초기 그리스도인들은 예수 그리스도를 증거하는 것을 가장 귀하게 여겼다.
  • 초대 교회 성도들은 예수 그리스도가 증거되기를 위해 기도했다.
  • 예수 그리스도를 높이는 것이 하나님께 가장 큰 영광이다.

우리는 항상 하나님 앞에 있으며, 하나님 말씀에 순종하는 것이 가장 큰 축복이다. 예수 그리스도를 높이고 찬양하는 것이 하나님께 경배하는 것이다.

 

Title: In the presence of God (Acts 4:13-22)

  1. The disciples confessed they were in the presence of God when and wherever they were.
  • Even when the disciples were being threatened by the religious leaders, they confessed they were in the presence of God.
  • Believers should always recognize they are in the presence of God.
  1. Despite all threats the disciples bravely obeyed the word of God.
  • In every generation Satan will oppose the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Faithful Christians should always confess Jesus Christ as their Savior.
  1. Early Christians considered spreading the news about Jesus Christ as most precious.
  • Members of the Early Church prayed for the Jesus Christ to be testified.
  • Lifting up Jesus Christ brings the greatest glory to God.

It is the greatest blessing to be in the presence of God and obeyed the word of God. Raising and praising Jesus Christ is worshiping God.
