1. 우리는 하나님 은혜를 인해 믿음으로 구원을 받았습니다.

• 우리에게서 난 것이 아니고 하나님의 선물입니다.
• 우리 공로나 행위로는 구원 얻을 수 없습니다.

2. 우리는 구원 받은 것이 감사해서 선행을 하는 것입니다.

• 이 순서가 바뀌면 안 됩니다.
• ‘그리스도 안에서’ 선한 일을 위해 지음 받았습니다.

3. 우리는 이방인, 무할례당, 그리스도와 이스라엘 밖에 있었습니다.

• 약속의 언약들에 대해 외인이고 소망도 하나님도 없었습니다.
• 그리스도 예수 안에서 그리스도의 피로 가까와졌습니다.

십자가로 막힌 담을 허시고 하나님과 원수되었던 우리를 화목하게 하신 예수님을 찬양합시다. ‘주는 평화 막힌 담을 모두 허셨네!’

Title: Christ, our Peace (Ephesians 2:8-18)

1. We are saved by faith, through the grace of God.

• This is not from ourselves but a gift of God.
• We cannot be saved by our works or deeds.

2. We do good works because we are thankful for our salvation.

• The order of this cannot be changed.
• We are created for the good works ‘in Christ Jesus’.

3. We used to be foreigners, uncircumcised, excluded from Israel and Christ.

• We used to be excluded from the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God.
• We became closer to God through Jesus Christ and His blood.

Let us praise Jesus Christ who reconciled us who used to be enemies of God, through the cross, destroying the barrier. ‘He is our peace, who has broken down every wall’.
