1. 성도들의 회의는 하나님의 뜻을 이루기 위함이다.

• 예루살렘 회의는 이방인 전도를 위하여 모였다.
• 교회는 복음전도를 목적으로 회의를 해야한다.

2. 성도들의 회의에선 여러 의견들이 발표된다.

• 예루살렘 회의에서 바리새파 의견과 사도들의 의견이 발표되었다.
• 교회는 여러 의견들이 있을 수 있으나 하나님의 뜻에 순종해야 한다.

3. 성도들의 회의를 통하여 하나님의 뜻을 선포하고 가르친다.

• 예루살렘 회의에서 결정한 사항을 모든 신자들이 지키도록 했다.
• 교회는 함께 결정한 사항들을 잘 지켜야 한다.

하나님은 성령님에 의해 성경, 기도, 환경과 교회를 통해서 자기 자신과 목적과 길들을 말씀하신다. (하나님을 경험하는 삶 7가지 실체 – 실체 4)

1. The council of believers is to achieve the will of God.

• The Jerusalem council was gathered for the converted Gentiles.
• The church should open councils with the purpose of evangelism.

2. Many opinions are presented in a council of believers.

• The views of the Pharisees and the apostles were presented in the Jerusalem council.
• There can be many views in the church but we should obey the will of God.

3. The will of God is proclaimed and taught through the council of believers.

• The items decided in the Jerusalem council was to be kept by all believers.
• The church should keep the items decided together.

God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways. (Seven realities for Experiencing God – Reality 4)
