2017년 7월 2일 모습

2017년 7월 2일 주일에는 빅토리아 주 총회에서 사역하시는 양미원 목사님께서 오셔서 설교해주셨습니다. 은혜의 말씀을 전해주신 목사님께 감사드립니다. On Sunday 2nd of July, Pastor Yang Meewon from the Baptist Union of Victoria came to preach for us. We thank Pastor Yang for the message of grace.

예배후에 다함께 교회에서 모여서 단체사진을 찍었습니다. 어린아이들로부터 어른까지 우리 모두가 날로 날로 성장해나가는 질롱침례교회가 되길 기도합니다. After the service we had a chance to take a group photo at church. From young children to adults, we pray that all of us in Geelong Korean Baptist Church grow day by day.

예배후에는 주현숙 사모님께서 맛있는 점심식사를 준비해주셨습니다. 맛있는 식사를 준비해주신 사모님께 감사드립니다. After the service, we shared in a great lunch prepared by Hyunsook (wife of Pastor Yang). We thank her for preparing such a wonderful meal.

점심식사 후에는 어린아이들은 함께 놀며 즐거운 시간을 갖는 모습, 또한 우리를 위해 설거지로 섬겨주시는 성도님들의 모습이 참 아름답습니다. 이렇게 좋은 가족을 주신 하나님께 감사드립니다. Our children playing joyfully after lunch, and our members serving through dishwashing is a beautiful sight. We thank God for giving us such a great family.

제목: 쓴 웃음이 믿음이 되기까지 (창 18:1-15; 21:1-6, 롬 4:19-20)

  1. 사라는 하나님의 약속의 말씀을 믿지 못했다.
  • 사라는 아들을 낳을 것이라는 하나님의 말씀에 자신의 처지를 보면서 속으로 웃었다.
  • 우리도 하나님의 약속의 말씀이 있지만 현실을 보면서 절망한다.
  1. 사라는 하나님의 약속이 이루어졌을 때 하나님을 온전하게 믿게 되었다.
  • 사라는 하나님께서 약속한 때에 아들을 낳았다.
  • 우리도 예수 그리스도의 십자가와 부활을 확실히 믿는다.
  1. 아브라함과 사라는 굳건한 믿음으로 하나님께 영광을 돌렸다.
  • 아브라함과 사라는 하나님께서 택한 백성의 조상이 되었다.
  • 우리도 믿음으로 하나님의 백성이 되어 하나님께 영광을 돌린다.

질롱한인교회와 매니폴드하이츠 교회가 협동하여 믿음으로 사역하면 다문화 신앙공동체의 비전을 이룰 것이다.

The sermon for the 2nd of July was preached by Pastor Meewon Yang, from the Baptist Union of Victoria.

Title: Until a Bitter Laugh becomes Faith (Genesis 18:1-15, 21:1-6, Romans 4:19-20)

  1. Sarah did not believe in God’s promised words.
  • When hearing the words of God that she will have a son, Sarah looked upon her situation and laughed to herself.
  • Despite God’s promised words, we also despair when we look at our situation.
  1. Sarah was able to believe in God completely when the promise was achieved.
  • Sarah had a son at God’s promised time.
  • We believe with surety in the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  1. Through a firm faith Abraham and Sarah glorified God.
  • Abraham and Sarah became the forefather of God’s chosen people.
  • Through our faith we also become people of God and glorify God.

When Geelong Korean Baptist Church and Manifold Heights Baptist Church work together in faith, we will be able to achieve the vision of a multicultural Christian community.
