2017년 11월 26일 주일은 추수감사주일예배를 드렸습니다. 한해를 지켜주신 하나님의 은혜에 감사드리며 예수 그리스도의 구원의 은혜를 다시 기억하며 감사드리는 주일이었습니다. 예배중에는 최효인 전도사님과 최이레 집사님의 특송을 통해 함께 은혜를 받고, 예배 후에는 성도님들께서 함께 준비해 오신 맛있는 음식을 통해 사랑의 교제를 나눴습니다. 기쁨과 감사의 주일을 주신 하나님께 감사드립니다.

We praised God with thanksgiving on the 26th of November. We thanked God for providing for us during the year, and also remembered the grace of salvation through Jesus Christ. Joyce and Jireh shared a special song during the service, and afterwards we shared the love and joy through all the special dishes that were prepared by the church family. We thank God for giving us a joyful and thankful Sunday.

제목: 진정 감사해야 할 것 (사도행전 23:11)

  1. 예수 그리스도께서 우리를 구원하셨다.
  • 예수님께서 박해자였던 바울을 구원하셨다.
  • 우리는 구원의 은혜를 감사해야 한다.
  1. 예수 그리스도께서 우리와 항상 함께 하신다.
  • 예수님께서 바울에게 항상 함께 하신다고 말씀하셨다.
  • 우리는 주님께서 늘 함께 하심을 감사해야 한다.
  1. 예수 그리스도께서 우리에게 확실한 미래를 약속하셨다.
  • 예수님께서 바울의 미래에 대하여 확실하게 말씀하셨다.
  • 우리는 영원한 천국이 있음을 감사해야 한다.

“모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 닦아 주시니 다시는 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라” (요한계시록 21:4)

 

Title: What we are truly thankful for (Acts 23:11)

  1. Jesus Christ saved us.
  • Jesus saved Paul, who used to be a persecutor.
  • We have to be thankful for the grace of salvation.
  1. Jesus Christ is always with us.
  • Jesus told He will always be with Paul.
  • We should be thankful that the Lord is always with us.
  1. Jesus Christ promised us a certain future.
  • Jesus told Paul of his future with certainty.
  • We have to be thankful that there is an eternal heaven.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelations 21:4)

2017년 11월 19일 주일은 송병우 집사님의 마지막 주일 예배였습니다. 항상 먼 곳에서부터 한달에 한번씩 예배를 함께 드려온 송집사님의 삶 속에 하나님의 축복이 있길 원합니다.

Sunday the 19th of November was the last Sunday with Sam. He has been joining our church every month for a year, and we pray for God’s blessing in his future.

제목: 하나님 나라 시민권 (사도행전 22:24-29)

  1. 그리스도인은 모두 하나님 나라의 시민권을 가졌다.
  • 사람이 예수 그리스도를 구주를 영접하면 하나님의 자녀가 된다.
  • 우리는 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 하나님 나라의 시민이 되었다.
  1. 하나님 나라의 시민은 하나님의 보호를 받는다.
  • 예수 그리스도께서 세상 끝 낰까지 함께 하시겠다고 약속하였다.
  • 우리는 이 세상에서 하나님의 보호와 인도를 받는다.
  1. 하나님 나라 시민권은 영적인 것이며 영원하다.
  • 하나님 나라의 시민은 영혼이 구원받았으며 영원한 것이다.
  • 우리는 새로운 몸으로 영원히 주님과 함께 산다.

“예수께서 이르시되 나는 부활이요 생명이니 나를 믿는 자는 죽어도 살겠고 무릇 살아서 나를 믿는 자는 영원히 죽지 아니하리니 이것을 네가 믿느냐” (요한복음 11:25-26)

 

Title: Citizenship of God’s Kingdom (Acts 22:24-29)

  1. Christians have all obtained the citizenship of God’s Kingdom.
  • When a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Saviour, they become children of God.
  • We have become citizens of God’s Kingdom by believing in Jesus Christ.
  1. Citizens of God’s Kingdom receive protection from God.
  • Jesus Christ has promised He will be with us to the very end of age.
  • We receive God’s protection and guidance in this world.
  1. The citizenship of God’s Kingdom is spiritual and eternal.
  • The citizenship of God’s Kingdom saves our souls and is eternal.
  • We will receive a new body and live eternally with the Lord.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?’” (John 11:25-26 NIV)

제목: 바울의 간증 (사도행전 22:2-21)

  1. 바울은 예수님을 만나기 전의 자기 모습을 말했다.
  • 바울이 종교적 열심으로 그리스도인들을 박해했다.
  • 모든 사람은 하나님을 거역한 죄인이다.
  1. 바울은 예수님을 구주와 주님으로 만난 경험을 말했다.
  • 바울이 다메섹으로 가는 길에서 부활하신 예수님을 만났다.
  • 모든 그리스도인은 예수님을 구주와 주님으로 고백한다.
  1. 바울은 예수님을 만난 후에 변화된 자신을 말했다.
  • 바울이 박해자에서 복음전도자로 변화되었다.
  • 모든 복음전도자들은 변화된 삶으로 예수 그리스도를 증거한다.

“그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다” (고후 5:17)

  1. Paul talked of his self before he met Jesus.
  • Paul persecuted the Christians with religious zeal.
  • All people are sinners who betrayed God.
  1. Paul talked of how he met Jesus as his Savior and Lord.
  • Paul met the risen Jesus as he was going to Damascus.
  • All Christians confess Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
  1. Paul talked of how he changed after meeting Jesus.
  • Paul changed from being a persecutor to an evangelist.
  • All evangelists testify Jesus Christ through their changed lives.

“Therefore, if anyone is inChrist, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)

제목: 옛사람 vs 새사람 (에베소서 4:17-24)

  1. 옛사람의 상태
  • 그 마음의 허망한 것으로 행한다.
  • 그 총명이 어두워지고 그 마음이 굳어짐으로 하나님 생명에서 떠나있다.
  • 감각 없는 자가 되어 방탕하고, 모든 더러운 것을 욕심으로 행한다.
  1. 새사람을 입으려면
  • 진리이신 예수님 말씀을 듣고 배워야 합니다.
  • 성령의 도우심으로 마음을 새롭게 해야 합니다.
  • 의롭고 거룩하신 예수님으로 옷 입어야 합니다.

“너희는 유혹의 욕심을 따라 썩어져 가는 구습을 따르는 옛 사람을 벗어 버리고 오직 너희의 심령이 새롭게 되어 하나님을 따라 의와 진리의 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새 사람을 입으라” (엡 4:22-24)

 

Title: Old Self vs New Self (Ephesians 4:17-24)

  1. The old self
  • They act in the futility of their thinking.
  • They are darkened in their understanding and separated from God.
  • Lost all sensitivity and live sensually, indulging in impurity and full of greed.
  1. To become a new self
  • Must hear and learn about the truth that is in Jesus.
  • Must be made new in the attitude of your mind through the Holy Spirit.
  • Must be clothed in Jesus, in true righteousness and holiness.

“Put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Eph 4:22-24)

11월 5일 주일은 특별히 주현숙 사모님과 스티븐 형제의 생일을 축하하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 한 가족으로 즐거운 날들을 함께 나누는 기쁨의 시간이었습니다.

On the 5th of November we celebrated the birthdays of HyunSook and Stephen. It was a joyful time sharing the celebrations together as a family.
