1. 그는 인격적으로 주님을 만나 변화된 신앙인이었다.

• 바울은 예수 그리스도를 구주로 영접하여 변화되었다.
• 우리는 예수 그리스도를 믿어 구원받고 변화되어야 한다.

2. 그는 사랑으로 복음을 전하는 신실한 그리스도인이었다.

• 바울은 모든 사람이 그리스도인이 되도록 간절한 마음으로 복음을 전했다.
• 우리도 가족과 이웃에게 하나님의 사랑을 전해야 한다.

3. 그는 영적 자유를 누리는 참 자유자였다.

• 바울은 결박되어 있었으나 진정 자유로운 사람이었다.
• 우리도 죄사함의 감격으로 사람들에게 자신을 닮으라고 말할 수 있어야 한다.

“근심하는 자 같으나 항상 기뻐하고 가난한 자 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하고 아무 것도 없는 자 같으나 모든 것을 가진 자로다” (고후 6:10)

1. He had personally met the Lord and became a transformed Christian.

• Paul was transformed when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.
• We have to believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, and be transformed.

2. He was a faithful Christian spread the gospel with love.

• Paul spread the gospel with a sincere heart longing for all people to become Christians.
• We should spread the love of God to our family and neighbours.

3. He was truly free, enjoying the spiritual freedom.

• Although Paul was in chains, he was truly free.
• As we are moved by being saved from sin, we have to be able to tell others to be more like us.
