질롱침례교회 2주년 예배

2018년 1월 28일은 질롱침례교회 창립 2주년 기념 예배를 드렸습니다. 많은 가족, 친구, 이웃들을 초대하여 함께 예배를 드리게 하신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 예배 후 함께 나눌 음식을 손수 준비한 질롱침례교회 가족들께 감사드리고, 함께 교회 창립을 감사드리며 예배드린 모든 분들께 감사드립니다.

January 28th was our church’s 2nd anniversary service. We thank God for being able to invite many family, friends and neighbours to join in our celebration. We also thank the Geelong Korean Baptist Church members who helped prepare the food to share afterwards, and thank all those who came and celebrated with us.

새로방문하신 김식 집사님, 캐니, 데비, 조슈아, 조한네 가족 환영합니다. 또한 조쉬, 데이지, 샬롯, 올리비아 가족 환영합니다. 저번주에도 오셨던 정아자매와 마이클 환영합니다. 다시 방문한 루카스 형제 환영합니다. 새롭게 질롱으로 이사오신 나동균 형제, 그리고 오상옥, 오희초 자매님 환영합니다. 중국에서 방문한 스티븐 가족 모두 환영합니다.

We welcome Shik Kim, Kenny, Debbie, Joshua and Johan’s family. We also welcome Josh, Daisy, Charlotte and Olivia’s family. We welcome Jeong-Ah and Michael. We welcome Lucas for visiting again. We also welcome Dong-gyun, Sang-Ok and Hee-Cho. We welcome Stephen’s family who visited us from China.

제목: 신앙의 본이 되려면 (데살로니가전서 1:4-10)

  1. 하나님 아버지께서 사랑하셔서 선택하셨음을 알아야 한다.
  • 바울은 하나님께서 데살로니가 교회 성도들을 선택하셨다고 말했다.
  • 하나님께서 우리를 그의 자녀들로 선택하셨다.
  1. 예수 그리스도에 대한 복음의 말씀을 잘 들어야 한다.
  • 데살로니가 교회 성도들은 바울이 전하는 복음을 하나님 말씀으로 잘 들었다.
  • 우리가 하나님 말씀을 잘 들어야 신앙의 본보기가 된다.
  1. 성령의 능력과 큰 확신으로 기뻐해야 한다.
  • 데살로니가 교회 성도들은 성령의 능력을 나타내며 크게 기뻐했다.
  • 우리가 성령으로 충만하면 항상 기뻐하게 된다.

“주 안에서 항상 기뻐하라 내가 다시 말하노니 기뻐하라” (빌 4:4)

 

 

Title: To be an Example of Faith (1 Thessalonians 1:4-10)

  1. We should know we were chosen because God loved us.
  • Paul said the members of the Thessalonian church was chosen.
  • God chose us to be His children.
  1. We should listen carefully about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • The Thessalonian church listened carefully to Paul’s teaching of the gospel as God’s words.
  • We should listen carefully to the word of God to become an example of faith.
  1. We should be joyful for the power of the Holy Spirit and deep conviction.
  • The Thessalonian church were joyful with the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • When we are full of the Holy Spirit we are always joyful.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4 NIV)

제목: 하나님을 본 받는 자가 되라 (에베소서 5:1-2)

  1. 인간이 하나님을 본받을 수 있나?
  • 하나님은 전지전능, 무소부재하시고, 온 우주의 창조주이시다.
  • 하나님은 거룩의 본체시고 죄가 전혀 없는 분이시다.
  • 공의로우시고 그 면전에 설 수 있는 자가 없다.
  1. 죄인으로는 불가능하지만 하나님의 자녀라면 가능하다.
  • 예수 그리스도께서 희생제물이 되셨다.
  • 예수님의 대속을 믿는 자는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨다.
  • 죄의 삶은 끝나고 새생명의 삶을 살게 된다(침례).
  1. 하나님을 닮아가려면 신적인 능력이 필요하다.
  • 믿는 자 안에는 하나님의 영인 성령이 계신다.
  • 죄성이 남아있지만 성령께 순종하면 새생명이 역사한다.
  • 말씀과 기도로 하나님과 가까이 교제하는 것이 중요하다.

하나님을 본받아 사랑 안에서 행하는 우리 모두가 되기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 축원합니다.

 

 

Title: Follow God’s Example (1 Thessalonians 1:2-7)

  1. Can man follow God’s example?
  • God is almighty, omnipresent, and creator of the universe.
  • God is the essence of holiness and has no sin.
  • God is righteous and there is none who can stand in front of Him.
  1. It is impossible as a sinner but it is possible as a child of God.
  • Jesus Christ became the sacrifice.
  • To those who believe in salvation through Jesus, God gave the right to become children of God.
  • The life of sin is gone and now live in a new life (Baptism).
  1. To follow God’s example, you need a godly power.
  • The Holy Spirit, who is the spirit of God is with those who believe.
  • Although the sinful nature remains, as you obey the Holy Spirit, you are able to live a new life.
  • It is important to have a close relationship with God through the word of God and prayer.

I bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ to follow God’s example and act in love.

제목: 본보기 신앙의 내용 (데살로니가전서 1:2-7)

  1. 믿음의 역사
  • 데살로니가 교회 성도들은 복음전도와 선한 일을 행하는 믿음을 가졌다.
  • 우리도 행함과 실천으로 믿음을 나타내야 한다.
  1. 사랑의 수고
  • 데살로니가 교회 성도들은 희생과 수고로 교우들과 이웃을 사랑했다.
  • 우리도 가족과 교우, 이웃을 위해 수고함으로 사랑해야 한다.
  1. 소망의 인내
  • 데살로니가 교회 성도들은 예수 그리스도의 재림을 소망하며 인내했다.
  • 우리도 천국을 소망하면 현실의 어려움을 극복할 수 있다.

“모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 닦아주시니 다시는 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음 이러라” (계 21:4)

 

 

Title: The Model of Faith (1 Thessalonians 1:2-7)

  1. Work produced by faith
  • The members of the Thessalonian Church had the faith to evangelize and do good works.
  • We should also show our faith through action.
  1. Labor prompted by love
  • The members of the Thessalonian Church loved each other and their neighbours through sacrifice and labour.
  • We should also show love by laboring for our family, our church and our neighbours.
  1. Endurance inspired by hope
  • The members of the Thessalonian Church endured while hoping for the return of Jesus Christ.
  • We can also overcome difficulties in life through hope in heaven.

“’He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4 NIV)

2018년 첫 주일, 반가운 손님들이 많아서 더 감사했습니다. 휴가중 방문해 주신 양창모집사님 가족과 전은석 집사님 가족을 환영합니다. 잠시의 만남이지만 이 만남을 통해 주님안에서의 교제가 이어지길 기대합니다.

On the first Sunday of 2018, we welcomed quite a few visitors. We welcome deacon ChangMo Yang and deacon EunSeok Jeon’s family. Although it was a brief meeting, we look forward to continuing a loving relationship in Christ.

2017년 송구영신 예배

2017년 12월 31일 저녁, 한해의 마지막과 한해의 처음을 하나님께 드리는 귀한 시간을 가졌습니다. 촛불예배로 드린 2017년 12월 31일, 2018년 1월 1일의 송구영신 예배를 통해 우리의 모든 시간의 주인이 예수 그리스도임을 고백하는 질롱침례교회 가족이 아름답습니다. 예배 후에는 2018년 축복의 말씀카드를 나누며 목사님께 축복기도를 받는 시간이 있었습니다.

On the evening of 31st of December, 2017, we offered the last and first minutes of the year to the Lord through worship. We thank God for our beautiful Geelong Korean Baptist Church family gathered together to serve the Lord with the candle-light service held on the evening of 31st of December, 2017 and 1st of January 2018. After the service we were given words of blessings for 2018, and our senior pastor prayed for us.

2017년 12월 31일은 특별한 주일이었습니다. 2017년은 특별히 53번의 주일예배를 드릴 수 있어서 참 감사한 해였습니다. 한 해의 마지막 주일, 주의 만찬식을 함께 하며 예수님의 은혜에 감사드리는 시간을 가졌습니다.

31st of December 2017 was a special Sunday. 2017 is special as we had 53 Sundays to worship together. On this last day of the year, we joined in sharing the Lord’s supper in rememberance and thankfulness of the grace of Jesus Christ.

오늘의 점심은 특별히 주현숙 사모님께서 준비해 주셨습니다. 맛있는 음식과 함께 한 해의 마지막을 교회 식구들과 함께 보낼 수 있어 하나님께 감사드립니다.

Today’s lunch was provided by HyunSook and her family. We thank God for allowing us to share the last day of the year with our family in Christ.

오늘 특별히 방문해 주신 이성자 권사님과 정구순 집사님을 환영합니다. 사랑하는 아들 (조혁제 형제)를 방문하기 위해 오셔서 함께 예배드릴 수 있음에 하나님께 감사드립니다.

We welcome elder SungJa Lee and deacon GooSoon Jeong. Elder Lee is visiting her son and we thank God for allowing us to worship together on her trip.
