• The Thessalonian church listened carefully to Paul’s teaching of the gospel as God’s words.
• We should listen carefully to the word of God to become an example of faith.

3. We should be joyful for the power of the Holy Spirit and deep conviction.

• The Thessalonian church were joyful with the power of the Holy Spirit.
• When we are full of the Holy Spirit we are always joyful.
