• 우리는 자주 만나 말씀과 기도로 교제하여야 한다.

2. 그리스도 안에서 형제자매들은 서로 격려하고 위로해야 한다.

• 바울은 데살로니가 성도들을 격려하기 위해 디모데를 그들에게 보냈다.
• 우리는 서로서로 칭찬과 격려로 세워주어야 한다.

3. 그리스도 안에서 형제자매들은 거룩한 공동체로 자라가야 한다.

• 바울은 데살로니가 교회 성도들이 하나님 앞에 거룩하게 서기를 원했다.
• 우리도 주님의 재림을 기다리는 거룩한 공동체를 이루어야 한다.

“평강의 하나님이 친히 너희를 온전히 거룩하게 하시고 또 너희의 온 영과 혼과 몸이 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 강림하실 때에 흠 없게 보전되기를 원하노라” (데살로니가전서 5:23)

• Paul and his companions eagerly wanted to see the faces of the Thessalonian church members.
• We should gather often to share in the word of God and prayer.

2. Brothers and sisters should encourage and comfort each other in Christ.

• Paul sent Timothy to Thessalonica to encourage them.
• We should compliment and encourage each other.

3. Brothers and sisters should grow in a holy community in Christ.

• Paul wanted the Thessalonian church members to become holy in front of God.
• We should also form a holy community waiting the return of the Lord.
