  1. 그리스도인은 말에 절제를 할 수 있어야 한다.

* 성숙한 그리스도인은 말에 실수가 없도록 절제한다.

* 우리는 말을 절제할 수 있도록 성령께 의지해야 한다.

  1. 그리스도인은 다른 사람을 세워주는 말을 해야 한다.

* 사람들은 말에 의해 일어서고, 힘을 얻는다.

* 우리는 성경에서 교훈하는 좋은 말을 많이 해야 한다.

  1. 그리스도인은 말로 하나님께 영광을 돌려야 한다.

* 하나님께서 그의 자녀들이 말로 영광 돌리기를 원하신다.

* 우리는 말로 예수 그리스도를 고백하고, 찬송하고, 간증해야 한다.

“ 또 무엇을 하든지 말에나 일에나 다 주 예수의 이름으로 하고 그를 힘입어 하나님 아버지께 감사하라 ”

( 골로새서 3:17 )

 

 

Title: Christian’s tongue  ( James 3:1 – 12 )

  1. Christians should have self-control in what they say.

* Mature Christians have self-control so they don’t make mistakes with what they say.

* We should rely on the Holy Spirit to control our tongue.

  1. Christians should say words of encouragement.

* People are strengthened by words.

* We should give encouragement from the Bible.

  1. Christians should glorify God with their tongues.

* God wants His children to glorify Him with their tongues.

* We should confess, praise, and speak of Jesus Christ.

“ And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

( Colossians 3:17 )

제목: 행위로 나타내는 믿음 (약 2:14 – 26)

  1. 우리는 입으로 시인하므로 믿음을 나타낸다.

* 입으로 시인한 믿음이 구원을 받게 한다.

* 우리는 고백, 찬양, 간증, 전도 등으로 믿음을 나타내야 한다.

  1. 우리는 예배와 섬김으로 믿음을 표현한다.

* 하나님께 예배 드리고, 이웃을 섬기는 것은 믿음의 표현이다.

* 우리는 진실한 예배와 성실한 봉사를 통해 믿음을 나타내야 한다..

  1. 우리는 하나님 말씀을 순종함으로 믿음의 삶을 산다.

* 일생 동안 하나님의 약속에 따라 순종하며 사는 것이 신자의 삶이다..

* 우리는 중요한 결정들을 하나님의 뜻에 따라 함으로 믿음의 삶을 살아야 한다.

“ 영혼 없는 몸이 죽은 것 같이 행함이 없는 믿음은 죽은 것이니라 ”

( 야고보서 2:26 )

 

 

Title: Faith shown by deeds  ( James 2:14 – 26 )

  1. We show our faith by confessing with our mouth.

* Salvation is achieved by confessing our faith with our mouth.

* We should show our faith through confession, praise, testimony, and evangelism.

  1. We show our faith through worship and service.

* Worshipping God and serving others is an expression of faith.

* We should show our faith through genuine worship and faithful service.

  1. We live lives of faith by obeying the word of God.

* A believer’s life is to live obeying the covenant of God.

* We should live a life of faith by following the will of God in important decisions.

“ As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”

( James 2:26 )

제목: 똑같이 사랑하라! (약 1:19-27 )

  1. 하나님께서 우리를 똑같이 사랑하셨다.

* 하나님께서 죄인인 우리에게 은혜를 베풀어 사랑으로 구원하셨다.

* 우리는 하나님의 은혜로 구원받았기 때문에 똑같이 사랑해야 한다.

  1. 하나님께서 이웃을 자기 자신과 같이 사랑하라고 하셨다.

* 모세의 율법에 ‘네 이웃 사랑하기를 네 자신과 같이 하라’고 했다.

* 우리는 이웃을 자신과 같이 사랑하라는 말씀에 순종해야 한다.

  1. 예수님께서 서로 사랑하라고 새 계명을 주셨다.

* 예수님께서 주신 새 계명은 서로 사랑하라는 것이다.

* 우리는 예수님께서 우리를 사랑하신 것 같이 서로 사랑해야 한다.

“ 너희가 서로 사랑하면 이로써 모든 사람이 너희가 내 제자인 줄 알리라 ”

( 요한복음 13:35 )

Title: Love everyone the same!  ( James 2:1-13 )

  1. God loved us equally.

* God showed grace and saved us in love

* We were saved by God’s grace so we should love every equally.

  1. God said to love your neighbors as yourself.

* The law of Moses says to love your neighbors as yourself.

* We should obey the command to love our neighbors.

  1. Jesus gave us a new command to love one another.

* The new command from Jesus was to love one another.

* We should love one another like Jesus loved us.

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another ”( John 13:35 )
