  • 하나님의 은혜와 사랑을 받은 우리는 그것을 나눠야 한다.

  • 맛있어 보이지만 독이 들어 있는 선물도 있다.
  • 말씀과 기도로 깨어 있지 않으면 큰 손해를 볼 수 있다.

  • 성령의 선물 : 믿게 하심, 영적 은사
  • 성부의 선물 : 은혜, 사랑, 독생자
  • 성자의 선물 : 생수, 십자가의 희생

“ 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 네가 만일 하나님의 선물과 또 네게 물 좀 달라 하는 이가 누구인 줄 알았더라면 네가 그에게 구하였을 것이요 그가 생수를 네게 주었으리라 ” (요한복음 4:10)

 

Title : Gift (John 4:10)

  1. Gifts from people
  • We should share the grace and love we received from God.
  • God remembers what we do for the least of these.
  1. Gifts from Satan
  • There are gifts that look good but are poisonous.
  • We can suffer great loss if we are not awake with the Word and prayer.
  1. Gifts from God
  • Holy Spirit : helps us believe, spiritual gifts
  • Father : grace, love, His only son
  • Son : living water, sacrifice on the cross

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

( John 4:10)

  1. 예수님께서 영혼을 구원하기 위해 이 세상에 교회를 세우셨다..
  • 교회는 영혼구원의 사명을 가지고 이 세상에 존재한다..
  • 우리는 영혼구원을 위해 교회의 모든 사역을 집중해야 한다.
  1. 성령께서 교회가 미혹된 자들을 돌이키도록 돕는다
  • 거듭난 신자도 세상의 유혹과 거짓에 미혹될 수 있고, 교회를 떠난 사람들은 대부분 진실한 믿음이 없는 종교적인 사람이다.
  • 우리는 미혹된 신자들이나 교회만 다니다가 떠난 자들이나 모두 돌이켜야 한다.
  1. 하나님께서 교회를 통해 신자의 구원을 영원히 보장하신다.
  • 교회는 예수님을 믿고 거듭난 신자의 구원을 보장하는 하나님의 방편이다.
  • 우리는 그리스도의 몸인 교회의 지체로서 우리의 구원이 영원할 것을 확신해야 한다.

“ 평강의 하나님이 친히 너희를 온전히 거룩하게 하시고 또 너희의 온 영과 혼과 몸이 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 강림하실 때에 흠 없게 보전되기를 원하노라 ” (데살로니가 전서 5:23)

Title : Salvation of soul as the church’s mission (James 5:19 – 20)

  1. Jesus established the church to save soul.
  • The church exists in this world with the mission to save souls.
  • We should focus all the ministries of the church on saving souls.
  1. The Holy Spirit helps to return those who wander from the truth.
  • Even born-again believers can wander towards the temptations of the world, and those who leave the church are religious people who did not have true faith.
  • We should bring back believers who wander and those who leave the church.
  1. God guarantees the salvation of believers through the church.
  • The church is God’s way to guarantee the salvation of believers who are born again through believing in Jesus.
  • We should believe that our salvation is eternal as we are part of the body of Christ

“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Title : Swearing and Faith (James 5:12, Matthew 5:34-37)

  • God teaches the faithfulness of His covenant through swearing.
  • In the Bible’s teachings about swearing, we should remember God’s covenant.

  • People try to show their own righteousness through swearing, and fall into the trap of lying because they cannot keep the oath.
  • We should acknowledge that we cannot keep an oath, and refrain from swearing any oaths.
  1. We should believe in God’s promises and obey.
  • God promised salvation through Jesus Christ.
  • We should believe His promise, and try to obey His word.

“ Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. ” (Hebrews 10:23-25)
