1. 갈릴리는 제자들이 예수님을 처음 만난 곳이며, 오랫동안 함께 지내던 곳이다.

• 제자들은 갈릴리에서 예수님을 따랐고, 많은 기적을 보고 주님의 말씀을 들었다.
• 우리는 예수님을 처음 믿었던 감격을 가져야 하고, 주님으로부터 받은 은혜와 말씀들을 기억해야 한다.

2. 갈릴리는 예루살렘에서 멀리 떨어진 시골이며, 이방인들이 섞여 사는 지역이다.

• 갈릴리 사람들은 정통유대인으로부터 무시를 당하는 주변인으로 취급 받았다.
• 우리는 소외 당하는 사람들을 찾아오시는 주님을 기대해야 한다.

3. 갈릴리는 세계를 향해 열려있는 교통의 요충지이다.

• 제자들이 갈릴리에서 주님의 사랑을 회복했고, 복음전도와 선교의 사명을 부여 받았다.
• 우리는 날마다 주님께 사랑을 고백하며, 선교현장에 살고 있음을 알아야 한다.

1. Galilee was where they first met Jesus, and where they spent the most time with the Lord.

• The disciples followed Jesus in Galilee, saw many miracles, and listened to His teachings.
• We should remember when we first met Jesus, and remember the grace we received.

2. Galilee was far away from Jerusalem, and a place where Jews and Gentiles lived together.

• Galileans were marginalized and shunned by traditional Jews.
• We should anticipate the Lord who comes to the marginalized.

3. Galilee is an important centre of traffic towards the world.

• The disciples recovered their love of Christ, and received the calling for evangelism and mission.
• We should always profess our love for Christ, and remember that we are living for mission.
