1. 예수님께서 복과 화를 함께 말씀하셨다.

• 예수님께서 하나님 나라를 중심으로 복과 화를 선포하셨다.
• 우리가 들어야 할 복음은 구원의 은혜뿐 아니라 죄에 대한 심판도 포함된다.

2. 예수님께서 세상 사람들의 생각과 반대로 말씀하셨다.

• 예수님께서 가난하고, 굶주리며, 우는 자가 복이 있다고 말씀하셨다.

• Jesus proclaimed blessing and woe centering around the kingdom of God.
• The gospel we need to hear includes the grace of salvation, but also the judgment for sin.

2. Jesus spoke in contrast to the thoughts of the world.

• Jesus said those who were poor, hungry, and weeping were blessed.
• We should hope for the kingdom of God, rather than riches, satisfaction and enjoyment in this world.

3. Jesus said that He is the origin of blessing and woe.

• Those who believe, follow, and are persecuted for jesus are truly blessed.
• We should trust God’s promise in midst of suffering and obey His commands.
