1. 예수님은 자연현상까지 다스리시는 권능의 하나님이시다.

• 예수님께서 바람과 파도를 꾸짖어 잔잔하게 하셨다.
• 우리는 예수님이 우주와 자연을 다스리시는 하나님의 아들로 믿어야 한다.

2. 인간은 자연재해의 위력에 두려워 떠는 연약한 존재이며, 인생은 여러 역경을 당할 수 있다.

• 예수님의 제자들이 강한 바람과 큰 파도에 두려워 떨었다.
• 우리는 그리스도인도 여러 역경을 겪을 수 있음을 알아야 한다.

3. 인생의 역경 가운데서도 예수님께서 함께 계시면 걱정하지 않아도 된다.

• 예수님께서 제자들이 바람과 파도를 무서워한 것을 믿음이 없었다고 책망하셨다.
• 우리는 어떤 상황에서도 사랑의 주님께서 함께 계심을 믿어 평안을 누리고, 어려울 때마다 기도하여야 한다.

“누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊으리요 환난이나 곤고나 박해나 기근이나 적신이나 위험이나 칼이랴”(롬8:35)

1. Jesus is the mighty God who rules over nature.

• Jesus rebuked the wind and waves and all was calm..
• We should believe Jesus as the Son of God who rules over space and nature.

2. Humans are weak existences who tremble before the force of nature, and there are many hardships in life.

• Jesus’ disciples trembled before the strong wind and large waves.
• We should know that even Christians will experience hardship.

3. There is no worry if Jesus is with us within life’s hardship.

• Jesus asked the disciples “Where is your faith?”
• We should believe that the Lord of love is with us in times of trouble.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? …..”(Romans 8:35)
