(Luke 19:1-10)

 

1. 1. Zacchaeus gave thanks by showing the fruits of his faith in action.

– Zacchaeus climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see Jesus.

– We should express our gratitude through showing our faith in action.

2. Zacchaeus gave thanks by confessing the fruits of repentance to Jesus.

– Zacchaeus promised to give half of his wealth to the poor, and repay four times of anything he cheated.

– We should live a thankful life transformed by repentance.

3. Zacchaeus gave thanks for the will of God by becoming a fruit of salvation.

– Jesus proclaimed the salvation of Zacchaeus..

– We should give thanks that we are fruit of salvation, and share the gospel to obtain more fruit.

제목: 깨어 있으라! (눅12:35 -48)

1. 예수님은 다시 오실 주님이시다. 그러므로 우리는 깨어 있어야 한다.

• 예수님께서 비유로 자신이 다시 오실 주님임을 말씀하셨다.
• 우리는 예수님을 다시 오실 주님으로 믿고, 맞이할 준비를 해야 한다.

2. 우리는 지혜 있고 신실한 청지기가 되어야 한다. 그것이 깨어 있는 것이다.

• 예수님께서 제자들에게 칭찬을 듣는 청지기가 될 것을 말씀하셨다.
• 우리는 주님의 칭찬을 기대하며 맡은 일에 충성하여야 한다.

3. 예수님은 심판 주로 다시 오실 것이다. 깨어 있는 자는 상을 받는다.

• 예수님께서 상급과 형벌을 말씀하셨다.
• 우리는 주님의 상급을 쌓으며, 멸망 당할 사람들에게 구원의 복음을 전해야 한다.

“ 보라 내가 속히 오리니 내가 줄 상이 내게 있어 각 사람에게 그가 행한 대로 갚아 주리라” (요한계시록 22:12)

Title: Keep watch! (Luke 12: 35 – 48)

1. Jesus will return, so we should be awake.

• Jesus said He is the Lord who will return through parables.
• We should believe Jesus as the returning Lord and be ready.

2. We should be wise and faithful stewards to be awake.

• Jesus told His disciples to be stewards who receive praise.
• We should be faithful in what is entrusted to us so we can receive praise from the Lord.

3. Jesus will return as the Lord of judgment, and those who are awake will be rewarded.

• Jesus spoke of rewards and punishment.
• We should accumulate rewards the Lord and share the gospel of salvation to those who will perish.

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. (Revelation 22:12)

제목: 신비(골1:1-6)

1. 사도 바울은 로마 감옥에서 골로새 성도들에게 편지를 보냈다.

• 골로새는 에베소에서 160Km 떨어진 작은 도시이다.
• 바울에게 복음을 들은 에바브라가 골로새와 라오디게아 교회를 설립했다.
• 골로새 교회에는 이단의 문제가 있었다.

2. 유대주의는 인간의 공로와 행위를 중요하게 여긴다.

• 믿음만으로는 부족하고, 율법을 지켜야 한다고 주장한다.
• 세상의 많은 종교들이 인간의 선행을 통해 낙원에 가려고 한다.
• 인간의 공로와 업적을 쌓아 천국에 이르려는 것은 헛된 일이다.

3. 영지주의는 영만 선하고 육이 악하다는 이원론이다.

• 육을 악하게 보기 때문에 금욕주의(방종주의)로 나타난다.
• 예수님이 실제 몸으로 오지 않았다는 ‘가현설’을 주장한다.

1. The Apostle Paul wrote to the Colossian Church from Roman prison.

• Colosae was a small city 160Km from Ephesus.
• Epaphras, who heard the gospel from Paul, found the churches in Colossae and Laodicea.
• There were problems of heresy in the Colossian church.

2. Judaism emphasizes the works of people.

• They argue that faith is not enough, and the Law should be kept.
• Many religions of the world try to go to heaven through good acts.
• It is futile to try to get to heaven through own works and accomplishments.

3. Gnosticism is the dualism that spirit is good, and flesh is evil.

• It appears as asceticism because they see flesh as evil.
• They support ‘docetism’, which believes Jesus did not come as actual flesh.
• It can lead to believing that Jesus’ suffering and death were trickery.

• 주님의 상급을 위해 달려가는 삶, 천국시민 다운 삶을 살아야 한다.

4. 사도 바울은 주 안에 서고, 주 안에서 기뻐하라고 권면한다. .

• 감사의 기도로 나아가면 평강의 하나님이 함께 하신다.

1. Apostle Paul sent a letter of joy to the Philippians while in Roman prison.

• We should base our happiness on Jesus.
• Then we will have the faith to be fearless of death.

2. Apostle Paul taught to have the mindset of Jesus.

• The Creator became creation to obey until death.
• We should be workers for the gospel like Timothy and Epaphroditus.

3. Apostle Paul said knowledge of Jesus has surpassing worth.

• We should glorify the Lord rather than worldly wealth or pleasure.
• We should live towards Lord’s reward, worthy of being citizens of heaven.

4. Apostle Paul taught to stand firm in the Lord, and rejoice in the Lord.

• The God of peace will be with us when we pray with thanksgiving.
• We can overcome all hardship with strength from the Lord.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.” (Phil. 4:23)
