제목: 요셉의 귀향 (창세기 50:4 -14)

1. 그는 지나온 생애를 돌아보며 하나님의 인도를 감사했을 것이다. 
   • 요셉이 아버지의 장사를 위해 가나안으로 가면서 과거를 돌아보며 감사했다.
   • 우리는 지나온 삶을 돌아보며 하나님의 인도에 감사해야 한다.
2. 그는 아버지를 장사하면서 인생의 허무를 느꼈을 것이다.  
   • 요셉은 웅장한 장례행렬과 장사를 치르면서 인생의 허무를 느꼈다.    
   • 우리는 어떤 업적이나 명성을 자랑하지 말고 죽음 이후를 생각해야 한다.
3. 그는 장차 하나님께서 약속한 땅에 묻히는 소망을 간직했을 것이다.
   • 요셉은 아버지를 장사하면서 자신도 그곳에 묻히는 소망을 가졌다.
   • 우리는 예수 그리스도를 믿으므로 하나님의 자녀가 되어 천국을 소망하며 살아야 한다. 

Title : Joseph’s Return Home (Gen. 50:4 – 14)

1. He would have remembered the past and given thanks for God’s guidance. 

• Joseph looked back at his past and gave thanks as he travelled towards Canaan for his father’s funeral. 
• We should look back at our past and give thanks for God’s guidance. 

2. He would have felt the futility of life as he buried his father. 

• Joseph felt the futility of life as he brought a grand parade for his father’s funeral.
• We should not boast of any achievement but think of after our death.

3. He would have treasured the hope of burial in God’s promised land.

• As he buried his father, Joseph treasured the hope of being buried there himself.
• We should believe Jesus Christ to become God’s children, and live with the hope of heaven.
