1. 기독교신앙은 가족공동체의 신앙고백이 중요하다.
   • 여호수아는 가문을 대표하여 여호와 하나님을 섬기겠다고 선언했다.
   • 우리는 온 가족이 구원받을 것을 믿음으로 고백하며, 사명으로 선언해야 한다.
2. 기독교신앙은 가족공동체의 결단을 기대한다.
   • 여호수아는 이스라엘 각 가문의 두령들에게 신앙의 결단을 촉구했다.  
   • 우리는 온 가족이 모두 주님께로 돌아올 것을 목표하고 복음을 전해야 한다.
3. 기독교신앙은 전체 공동체로 확산된다.  
   • 여호수아의 신앙선언이 모든 이스라엘 백성들이 여호와를 섬기도록 했다.
   • 우리는 예수 그리스도의 복음으로 가족과 공동체에 영향을 끼쳐야 한다.

1. The faith confession of a family community is important in the Christian faith.

• Joshua represented his household to proclaim that they will serve the LORD God. 
• We should confess and proclaim with the faith that our families will be saved. 

2. The Christian faith expects the decision of the family community. 

• Joshua urged the leaders of each Israelite tribe to decide on their faith. 
• We should share the gospel with the goal of having the entire family return to the Lord. 

3. The Christian faith expands to the entire community. 

• Joshua’s proclamation of faith influenced all the Israelites to serve the LORD.
• We should have an influence on our family and community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
