1. 신화는 신비한 기적을 보게 하지만 신앙은 영혼을 구원한다.   
   • 사람들은 앉은뱅이가 일어나는 것을 보고 놀랐으나 바울은 그의 믿음을 보았다.
   • 우리는 신비한 기적을 바랄 것이 아니라 영혼의 구원을 감사해야 한다.    
2. 신화는 인간이 교훈을 목적으로 기록했지만 신앙은 하나님의 말씀을 믿는다.      
   • 사람들은 신화가 주는 교훈을 생각했으나 바울은 복음을 전했다.
   • 우리는 인간의 교훈을 위한 말씀보다 영생을 주는 말씀을 믿어야 한다.
3. 신화는 우상을 섬겨 사탄을 경배하지만 신앙은 하나님께 예배 드린다.   
   • 사람들이 바울과 바나바를 신으로 여겨 제물을 드려 제사하려 했다.
   • 우리는 세상의 어떤 것들을 얻는 것보다 하나님께 예배 드리는 것을 가장 소중하게 여겨야 한다.

Title: From myth to faith (Acts 14:8 – 18)

1. Myths focus on mysterious miracles, but faith is about saving the soul. 

• People were amazed by the lame man walking, but Paul saw his faith.
• We should not expect mysterious miracles, but give thanks for the salvation of souls. 

2. Myths are recorded by people to teach, but faith believes in the word of God. 

• People thought of the lesson from myths, but Paul proclaimed the gospel.
• We should believe the word of God that gives life.

3. Myths worship Satan through idolatry, but faith worships God. 

• People thought Paul and Barnabas were gods and tried to offer sacrifice.
• We should value worshiping God more than obtaining things in the world.

1. 보통 사람은 설교를 듣는 것을 좋아하지만 믿지는 않는다
   • 많은 사람들이 바울의 설교를 좋아하여 더 듣기를 원하였다.
   • 우리는 설교를 종교 활동의 하나로 듣기만 좋아해서는 안 된다.
2. 어떤 사람은 설교를 듣고 불편하게 여기며 반박하고 비방한다.
   • 유대인들이 바울의 설교를 싫어하여 반대하였다.     
   • 우리는 예수 그리스도를 설교하면 반박하고 반대하는 사람들이 있음을 알아야 한다.  
3. 하나님의 은혜를 받은 사람은 설교를 듣고 기뻐하며 예수 그리스도를 믿는다.  
   • 이방인들이 바울의 설교를 기뻐하며 예수 그리스도를 믿었다.
   • 우리는 설교를 들을 때마다 성령의 감동에 따라 믿음으로 반응해야 한다.

Title: People responding to the sermon (Acts 13:42 – 52)

1. Most people like to listen to the sermon but do not believe. 

• Many people liked Paul’s sermon and wanted to hear more. 
• We should not just listen to the sermon as a religious activity.

2. Some people are uncomfortable with the sermon and heap abuse.

• The Jews did not like Paul’s sermon and opposed it.
• We should know that there will always be opposition to sermons about Jesus Christ.

3. Those with the grace of God are glad to hear the sermon and believe in Jesus Christ. 

• The Gentiles were glad to hear Paul’s sermon and believed in Jesus Christ.
• We should respond with faith through the Holy Spirit each time we hear the sermon.

설교제목: 섬으로 간 바울 (Saul goes to an Island)

제목: 섬으로 간 사울(사도행전13:4 – 12)

1. 사울이 성령의 보내심과 인도로 섬으로 갔다.
   • 성령께서 사울과 바나바를 구별하여 구브로 섬으로 보내셨고, 그들과 함께 하셨다.
   • 우리는 성령께서 신자에게 임하여 복음전도와 선교를 하게 하심을 믿어야 한다. 
2. 사울이 섬의 회당들에서 하나님의 말씀을 전하였다.
   • 사울이 하나님의 말씀을 통하여 예수 그리스도의 복음을 전했다.   
   • 우리는 예수 그리스도가 십자가 죽음과 부활을 통해 구원의 하나님이 되심을 전해야 한다.  
3. 사울이 권능을 행하므로 섬의 총독이 예수님을 믿게 되었다.
   • 사울이 악한 영의 조종을 받는 마술사를 책망하고, 그의 눈이 멀도록 했다.    
   • 우리는 복음전도에서 악한 영의 방해를 받을 때, 성령의 권능과 예수님 이름의 능력을 믿고 사용해야 한다.

Title: Saul goes to an Island (Acts 13:4-12)

1. Saul was sent and guided by the Holy Spirit to an island. 

– The Holy Spirit set apart Barnabas and Saul to send them to Cyprus, and was with them. 

– We should believe that the Holy Spirit works through believers for evangelism and mission. 

2. Saul proclaimed the word of God in the island synagogues. 

– Saul proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ through the word of God. 

– We should proclaim that Jesus Christ became our God of salvation through His death on the cross and resurrection. 

3. Saul showed power and the island proconsul believed in Jesus.

– Saul rebuked the sorcerer controlled by an evil spirit, and blinded him. 

– When we face opposition from evil spirits in evangelism, we should believe and use the power of the Holy Spirit and the name of Jesus.
