제목: 아버지의 심부름 (삼상17:17 – 27

1. 심부름은 맡을 만한 사람에게 주어지는 사명이다.
   • 다윗은 모든 일에 신실하여 아버지의 심부름을 맡았다.
   • 우리는 누구로부터든지 중요한 일을 맡을 만큼 믿음직스러운 사람이   되어야 한다.
2. 심부름을 맡은 사람은 책임감을 갖고 즉시 실행해야 한다.
   • 다윗은 아버지의 명령에 즉시 순종하여 전쟁터에 있는 형들에게로 갔다.
   • 우리는 무슨 일이든지 맡겨지면 책임감을 갖고 즉시, 그리고 끝까지 실행하여야 한다.  
3. 심부름을 잘 수행한 사람에게 더 큰 사명이 맡겨진다.
   • 다윗은 여호와의 이름을 모욕하는 블레셋 장군 골리앗을 죽였다.   
   • 우리는 다윗을 통하여 예수 그리스도를 보아야 하고, 최고의 사명인 복음전도를 해야 한다.

Title: A Father’s Errand (1Samuel 17:17 – 27)

1. An errand is given to someone trustworthy.

• David was faithful in all his duties, so his father entrusted him with the errand. 
• We should be trustworthy so others can entrust us with important things. 

2. A person entrusted with an errand should be responsible and obey right away.

• David obeyed his father right away and went to his brothers at the battlefield.
• We should also be responsible and obey right away to completion of what is entrusted to us.

3. Those who have completed errands are entrusted with greater duties.

• David killed the Philistine champion Goliath who insulted the name of the LORD.
• We should see Jesus Christ through David, and obey the command to proclaim the gospel.
