제목: 복음의 열매 (골1:6 – 8)

1. 바울은 성도의 신앙여정을 다음과 같이 묘사했다.

복음을 듣고, 하나님 은혜를 깨닫고, 열매를 맺어 자란다(칭의, 성화).

2. 온 천하에 복음을 전하시려 하나님이 역사를 주관하셨다.

1) 알렉산더 대왕 – 언어의 통일

2) 팍스 로마나 – 평화의 시대

3) 로마의 도로 – 복음의 통로

4) 디아스포라 – 세계 선교

3. 주의 종들과 그리스도의 신실한 일꾼들로 인해 복음이 전해졌다.

1) 선교지 들을 위한 기도와 후원에 힘써야 한다.

2) 복음 전하는 것은 가장 귀하고 중요한 일이다.

– 지혜 있는 자는 궁창의 빛과 같이 빛날 것이요 많은 사람을 옳은 데로 돌아오게 한 자는 별과 같이 영원토록 빛나리라(단 12:3)

Title : Fruits of the Gospel(Col. 1:6 – 8 )

1. Paul described the faith journey of the believer as follows.

– We hear the gospel, understand God’s grace, bear fruit and grow (justification, sanctification)

2. God oversees history to spread the gospel throughout the world.

– Alexander the Great: unification of language

– Pax Romana: peace

– Roads of Rome: corridor for the gospel

– Diaspora: mission to the world

3. The gospel was spread through the faithful workers and servants of Christ the Lord.

– We should pray and support mission fields.

– It is more precious and important to share the gospel.

 제목: 너희와 너희 자녀를 위하여 울라! (눅23:26 – 31)

1. 너희와 너희 자녀의 죄를 슬퍼하며 울라.

  • 예수님께서 인간의 죄를 대속하시기 위하여 십자가를 지시고 골고다를 오르시면서 ‘너희와 너희 자녀를 위하여 울라’고 말씀하셨다.
  • 우리는 우리와 자녀의 죄를 슬퍼하며, 회개의 눈물을 흘려야 한다.

2. 마지막 심판을 두려워하며 울라.

  • 예수님께서 닥칠 환난과 마지막 심판을 두려워하며 울라고 하셨다.
  • 우리는 여러 재앙의 두려움보다 최후 심판인 지옥을 두려워해야 한다.

3. 너희와 너희 자녀의 구원을 간절히 기도하며 울라.

  • 예수님께서 구원의 은혜를 베푸시며, 모두가 믿고 구원받기를 간절히 바라신다.
  • 우리는 우리의 구원을 감사하며, 자녀들의 구원을 위해 눈물로 기도해야 한다.

Title : Weep for yourselves and your children! (Lk 23:26-31)

1. Weep for yourselves and your children.

  • Jesus said this as He carried the cross to redeem the sins of humanity.
  • We should grieve and shed tears of repentance for the sins of ourselves and our children. 

2. Weep in fear of the final judgment.

  • Jesus said to weep in fear of the coming destruction and final judgment. 
  • We should fear the final judgment of hell more than the various calamities. 

3. Weep and pray earnestly for the salvation of yourselves and your children. 

  • Jesus gives the grace of salvation, and wants all to believe and be saved.
  • We should give thanks for our salvation, and pray in tears for the salvation of our children.

본문: 데살로니가 후서 2:1-12 (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12)

제목: 미혹되지 말라! (Do not be deceived)

제목: 미혹되지 말라! (살후 2:1-12).

  1. 성령으로 깨어 있어 영적인 것을 분별하여야 한다.

* 사탄은 악령의 역사를 통하여 사람들을 미혹한다..

* 우리가 예수 그리스도 안에서 성령으로 충만하면 악령을 분별할 수 있다.

  1. 하나님의 말씀을 바로 알아 거짓말을 물리쳐야 한다.

* 사탄은 거짓 사상과 말로 사람들을 미혹한다..

* 우리가 성경을 체계적으로 알면 잘못된 사상과 교훈을 물리칠 수 있다.

  1. 건강한 교회 공동체에 속하여 이단을 경계해야 한다..

* 사탄은 성경을 잘못 이해하게 하여 사람들을 미혹한다.

* 우리가 건전한 교단에 속한 목회자의 지도를 받으면 이단을 경계할 수 있다.

“ 그러므로 내 사랑하는 형제들아 견실하여 흔들리지 말고 항상 주의 일에 더욱 힘쓰는 자들이 되라 이는 너희 수고가 주 안에서 헛되지 않은 줄 앎이라”(고전 15:58)

 

Title: Do not be deceived (2Thessalonians 2:1-12)

  1. We need to be awake in the Holy Spirit so we can discern spiritual matters.

* Satan deceives people through the work of evil spirits.

* When we are filled with the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ, we can discern evil spirits.

  1. We need to know the word of God to defeat lies.

* Satan deceives people through false ideology and lies.

* When we know the Bible properly, we can defeat false ideology and teachings.

  1. We need to be part of a healthy church community and be on guard against heresy.

* Satan deceives people through misinterpretation of the Bible.

* When we are guided by ministers from accredited denominations, we can be on guard against heresy..

“  Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. “(1 Corinthians 15:58)

제목: 하나님을 기쁘시게 하려 함 (데살로니가전서 2:1-12)

  1. 환난과 박해 가운데서도 성도의 본분을 다해야 한다.
  • 바울 일행과 데살로니가 교회 성도들은 박해 중에도 복음전도와 신앙생활에 충실하였다.
  • 우리가 고난 가운데서 믿음을 지키면 하나님께서 기뻐하신다.
  1. 인간적인 동기나 욕망이 아닌 하나님의 뜻을 따라야 한다.
  • 바울 일행은 이기적인 사람의 뜻이 아닌 하나님의 뜻에 순종했다.
  • 우리가 인본주의를 버리고 하나님 중심으로 살면 주님께서 도와주신다.
  1. 사명감과 동시에 사람들에 대한 깊은 사랑을 가져야 한다.
  • 바울 일행은 부모의 심정으로 복음을 전하고, 말씀을 가르쳤다.
  • 우리가 예수님의 사랑으로 가족과 이웃을 사랑하면 그들이 하나님의 가족이 된다.

“우리가 이같이 너희를 사모하여 하나님의 복음 뿐 아니라 우리의 목숨까지도 너희에게 주기를 기뻐함은 너희가 우리의 사랑하는 자 됨이다.” (살전 2:8)

 

 

Title: To be pleasing to God (1 Thessalonians 2:1-12)

  1. We should keep doing what we should as a Christian even during times of difficulty.
  • Paul’s company and the church of Thessalonica worked hard to preach the gospel even during suffering and strong opposition.
  • When we keep our faith during difficulties God is pleased.
  1. We must not follow human desires or impure motives but the will of God.
  • Paul’s company followed God’s will, not the selfish desires of humans.
  • When we give up humanism and live a God centered life, the Lord helps us.
  1. Along with the sense of duty, we should have deep love.
  • Paul’s company preached the gospel and taught the word of God just as a nursing mother cares for her children.
  • When we love our family and neighbours with the love of Jesus, they become God’s family.

“so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” (1 Thessalonians 2:8 NIV)

제목: 나와 같이 되기를 (사도행전 26:24-29)

  1. 그는 인격적으로 주님을 만나 변화된 신앙인이었다.
  • 바울은 예수 그리스도를 구주로 영접하여 변화되었다.
  • 우리는 예수 그리스도를 믿어 구원받고 변화되어야 한다.
  1. 그는 사랑으로 복음을 전하는 신실한 그리스도인이었다.
  • 바울은 모든 사람이 그리스도인이 되도록 간절한 마음으로 복음을 전했다.
  • 우리도 가족과 이웃에게 하나님의 사랑을 전해야 한다.
  1. 그는 영적 자유를 누리는 참 자유자였다.
  • 바울은 결박되어 있었으나 진정 자유로운 사람이었다.
  • 우리도 죄사함의 감격으로 사람들에게 자신을 닮으라고 말할 수 있어야 한다.

“근심하는 자 같으나 항상 기뻐하고 가난한 자 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하고 아무 것도 없는 자 같으나 모든 것을 가진 자로다” (고후 6:10)

 

Title: May become what I am (Acts 26:24-29)

  1. He had personally met the Lord and became a transformed Christian.
  • Paul was transformed when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.
  • We have to believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, and be transformed.
  1. He was a faithful Christian spread the gospel with love.
  • Paul spread the gospel with a sincere heart longing for all people to become Christians.
  • We should spread the love of God to our family and neighbours.
  1. He was truly free, enjoying the spiritual freedom.
  • Although Paul was in chains, he was truly free.
  • As we are moved by being saved from sin, we have to be able to tell others to be more like us.

 “sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.” (2 Corinthians 6:10 NIV)
