제목: 받는 것과 주는 것 (행 20:32-35)

  1. 그리스도인은 이미 많은 것을 받았다.
  • 신자는 영생을 비롯하여 많은 것을 받았다.
  • 우리는 받은 복을 세어보며 감사해야 한다.
  1. 그리스도인은 주어야 한다.
  • 예수님께서 자신을 주셨고, 바울도 주는 삶을 살았다.
  • 우리는 하나님께 드리고, 이웃에게 베풀고 나누어야 한다.
  1. 주는 것이 받는 것보다 복되다.
  • 예수님께서 주는 것이 복되다고 말씀하셨다.
  • 우리가 하나님께 드리고 이웃에게 주면 하늘에 보화를 쌓는다.

“주 예수께서 친히 말씀하신 바 주는 것이 받는 것보다 복이 있다 하심을 기억하여야 할지니라.” (행 20:35하)

 

 

Title: To receive and to give (Acts 20:32-35)

  1. Christians have already received many things.
  • Believers have received many things, including salvation.
  • We should count our blessings and be thankful.
  1. Christians should give.
  • Jesus gave himself, and Paul lived a life of giving.
  • We should give to God and share with our neighbours.
  1. To give is more blessed than to receive.
  • Jesus said giving is much more blessed.
  • When we give to God and share with our neighbours we pile our reward in heaven.

“remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35 NIV)

제목: 사명 (행 20:17-24)

“내가 달려갈 길과 주 예수께 받은 사명 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 증언하는 일을 마치려 함에는 나의 생명조차 조금도 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노라”
(행 20:24)

  1. 사명은 예수 그리스도께로부터 받는다.
  • 바울은 부활하신 예수님으로부터 주님의 이름을 전할 사명을 받았다.
  • 모든 그리스도인은 예수 그리스도의 증인의 사명을 받았다.
  1. 우리의 사명은 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 전하는 것이다.
  • 복음은 하나님의 은혜와 사랑으로 예수님을 믿으면 구원받는 것이다.
  • 신자는 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 얻는 구원을 선포해야 한다.
  1. 사명을 감당하려면 성령께 이끌려야 한다.
  • 바울은 성령께 이끌려 복음을 전하기 위해 생명조차 아끼지 않았다.
  • 성령께 이끌리면 담대하게 복음을 전할 수 있다.

Title: Task (Acts 20:17-24)

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” (Acts 20:24)

  1. We receive our task from Jesus Christ.
  • Paul received the task of testifying about the gospel from the revived Jesus.
  • All Christians received the task of testifying about Jesus Christ.
  1. Our task is to share the gospel of the grace of God.
  • The gospel is through believing in Jesus we are saved by the grace and love of God.
  • Believers should proclaim the salvation that comes from believing in Jesus Christ.
  1. We must rely on the Holy Spirit to be able to fulfill our task.
  • Paul was led by the Holy Spirit and did not spare his life to proclaim the gospel.
  • When you are led by the Holy spirit then you can proclaim the gospel boldly.

2017년 10월 1일 추석잔치

2017년 10월 1일에는 교회식구들과 함께 추석잔치를 즐겼습니다. 특별히 한국에서 오신 송은섭 목사님께서 설교해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 또한 맛있는 음식을 준비해주신 모든 성도님들 감사드립니다. 사랑의 교제속에 하나님께 영광 돌리는 질롱침례교회 되길 기도합니다.

On the 1st of October we celebrated the full moon festival with our church family. We were especially blessed with a visit from Pastor Song from Korea. We thank all who helped in the preparation of such a great party. We pray through the sharing of love we glorify God.

    우리 교회의 사명은 질롱 지역에 사는 한인뿐 아니라 모든 사람에게 복음을 전하여 하나님 나라 백성으로 삼는 것입니다.
  2. 오늘은 9월 마지막 주일입니다. 9월의 주제는 ‘믿음, 소망, 사랑’ 입니다. 데살로니가전서 1장 3절을 묵상하시길 바랍니다.
  3. 매 주일 예배 설교와 목요일 기도회 설교가 우리 교회 홈페이지에 실립니다. 홈페이지에(www.geelongbaptist.org) 방문하셔서 설교를 들으시길 바랍니다.
  4. 목요기도회 (오후 8시)와 말씀나눔 (오후 8:30-9:30)에 참여합시다.
    말씀나눔: 새신자 훈련총서 (학생부), 믿음의 삶 (장년부)
  5. 주보에 게시하는 ‘이번 주간 읽을 성경’을 매일 읽도록 하십시오.
  6. 다음 주일 (10월 1일)은 추석 명절을 앞두고 음식잔치와 민속놀이를 하겠습니다. 이웃과 친지를 초대하길 바랍니다.
  7. 호주 교회 탁구 잔치: Manifold Heights 교회에서 탁구를 통해 기금을 마련하려고 합니다. 많이 참여하길 바랍니다.
    10월 14일 (토) 오전 9시-오후 8시 (교회 강당)
  8. 학습도움교실: 청년교우들이 청소년과 어린이 학습지도를 하겠습니다.
    방학기간 토요일 오후 4-6시 (Youth room)
  9. 매월 첫주는 청년들이, 마지막 주일은 남선교회가 식탁교제 후 정리를 돕겠습니다. 오늘은 남선교회 차례입니다.

  1. We welcome all to our service today. We aim to share the good news with all people in Geelong.
  2. Today is the last Sunday of September. The theme for September is ‘faith, hope and love’. Let us meditate on 1 Thessalonians 1:3.
  3. The sermons from Sunday and Thursday are uploaded onto our church homepage.
  4. Join us in our Thursday prayer meeting at 8pm.
  5. Don’t forget to read the ‘Bible readings for the week’ in the notice.
  6. Next week (1st Oct) is the full moon festival and we will have a special food and traditional games celebration. Please invite your neighbours and family.
  7. The Manifold Heights Church is having a pingpong-a-thon in 14th of October (Saturday) from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
  8. Saturday study group: The young adults have volunteered to help the youth group in their studies on Saturday from 4:00PM to 6:00PM during the school holidays.
  9. Every first Sunday the young adults will help and every last Sunday the Mens fellowship will help in the dishwashing.
