2017년 9월 10일 주일은 특별한 주일이었습니다. 예수님을 구주로 영접하여 많은 사람들에게 공개적으로 선포하는 귀한 침례식이 있었습니다. 이날은 특별히 매니폴드 하이츠 교회 예배당 50주년인 동시에 담임목사님이신 최춘식 목사님께서 침례받으셨던 날이었습니다. 침례를 받은 스티븐 형제, 에일린, 김예연, 이진경 자매님 축하하며 축복합니다!

10th of September was a special Sunday. To publicly proclaim they have accepted Jesus and become children of God, we had a baptism ceremony for four people. We congratulate and bless Stephen, Eileen, Emily and Rachel who were baptised!

귀한 축복의 자리에 함께해주신 가족, 친구 그리고 이웃 모두 감사드리며 축복합니다. 이 귀한 날을 축복하기 위해 양승순 목사님과 김광희 형제께서 특별찬양으로 섬겨주셨습니다. 또한 성도님들 모두가 한 마음이 되어 꽃다발, 장식, 안내 그리고 음식준비를 해주셨습니다. 수고해주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다.

We thank and bless the family, friends and neighbours who joined in this glorious celebration. Pastor Yang and GwangHee shared a special song during the service, and all our church family served with one heart in preparing flowers, decorations and food. We thank all who have helped in celebrating this occasion.

제목: 성령의 침례 (행 19:1-7, 1:4-5)

  1. 하나님께서 그의 선택한 사람들에게 성령침례를 약속하셨다.
  • 오순절에 성령이 임하여 제자들 모두 성령침례를 받은 것은 하나님의 약속이 이루어진 것이다.
  • 우리도 하나님의 약속에 따라 성령침례를 받는다.
  1. 예수 그리스도를 믿는 자는 이미 성령침례를 받았다.
  • 성령께서 예수 그리스도를 구주와 주님으로 믿게 하신다.
  • 우리가 예수 그리스도를 믿고 고백하면 성령침례를 받은 것이다.
  1. 성령께서 성령침례를 받는 신자들에게 내주하시고 충만케 하신다.
  • 성령침례를 받은 신자에게 성령께서 늘 함께 하시고 그들을 충만하게 하신다.
  • 우리는 성령의 내주하심을 믿으며 성령충만을 구해야 한다.

“술 취하지 말라 이는 방탕한 것이니 오직 성령으로 충만함을 받으라” (엡 5:18)

Title: Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 19:1-7, 1:4-5)

  1. God promised the baptism of the Holy Spirit for those He selected.
  • As the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples at Pentecost, the promise of God was fulfilled.
  • Likewise, we will receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit as per the promise of God.
  1. Those who believe in Jesus Christ have already received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • The Holy Spirit lets us believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.
  • When we believe in Jesus Christ and confess, we have already received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  1. The Holy Spirit dwells in those and fulfills those who have received His Baptism.
  • The Holy Spirit is always with those who have received His Baptism.
  • We should believe in the dwelling of the Holy Spirit and ask for the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

“Do not get drunk on wine, leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:18 NIV)

2017년 1월 8일 침례식

2017년 1월 8일에는 질롱침례교회 첫 침례식이 있었습니다. 유아세례를 받았었지만 다시 한번 믿음의 간증을 고백하며 침례를 받았습니다. 질롱침례교회의 첫 침례식의 주인공 이민재 형제님을 축복하고 사랑합니다. 늘 신앙의 간증대로 사시길 바랍니다.

We held our first baptism on the 8th of January 2017. Although he had received infant baptism, he decided to get baptised again as he renewed his testimony of faith. We bless and love Minjae, our first member to receive baptism in Geelong Korean Baptist Church. We pray that he will live as he testified in front of everyone today.

오늘은 또한 한달 동안 휴가를 다녀온 에일린, 사랑, 그리고 진솔이가 다시 교회에 돌아왔습니다. 즐거운 시간 보내고 건강하게 돌아온 가족을 환영합니다. 또한 오늘 새로운 가족이 질롱침례교회에 참석하게 되었습니다. 정용환 형제님, 홍수진 자매님, 정동혁 어린이 모두 환영하고 축복합니다.

We also welcomed back Aileen, Alicia and Claudia back from their family holiday. We are glad they had a great time with their family and are back healthy and happy. We also welcomed a new family to church today. We welcome and bless Yonghwan Jeong, Sujin Hong and Donghyuk Jeong.
